cf48abae1a321028892f4330b825ed59Hello there! Today I’m excited to be joining Mama Elephant for their 2nd Anniversary Stampede. They have so many fun products coming out this month including a ton of new fabulous ink colors.
Mama Elephant~Jolly & Merry, Arctic PenguinsMy project features the new Jolly & Merry set as well as the Arctic Penguins set. I die cut a circle opening and used three Mama Elephant ink colors to blend in the background. The pigment inks blend like butter. I also used the coordinating dies for the penguins. How adorable are these penguins? So fun to play with and accessorize with hats, gifts, etc.

PTI~Release in Review

Hi there! Today I’m back for my final Release in Review post with Papertrey Ink. All new products from the October release will be available in the Papertey Ink store tonight at 10 pm EST. So, let me show you some of my final projects. First up is the Birthday Classics: November designed by Dawn McVey.PTI~Birthday Classics: NovemberI used my post-it tape to mask off the stripes and my ink blender to blend in some fun fall-ish November birthday-ish colors:)
PTI~Birthday Classics: NovemberNext is the Freshly Fallen designed by Lizzie Jones.
PTI~Freshly FallenI die cut the modern snowflakes in vellum, and blended some ink behind for a soft, peaceful feel…hence the peaceful sentiment.
PTI~Freshly FallenThe next set featured on the tag below is Merry Kiss-mas designed by Lexi Daly
PTI~Merry Kiss-masAfter stamping the mistletoe in New Leaf, I added some shading with Copics as well as coloring the berries. The Merry Christmas sentiment is from the new Snow Globe Sentiments set designed by Betsy Veldman.
PTI~Merry Kiss-masI used the new Phrase Play #8 designed by Nichole Heady to dress up this pillow box. I smeared glue all over the snowflake and dipped it in glitter and then clipped it onto the die cut sentiment from Phrase Play #8.
PTI~Phrase Play #8How fun would this be with some Hershey kisses inside? So fun.
PTI~Phrase Play #8Next up is Jolly Holiday designed by Melissa Bickford.
PTI~Jolly HolidayYou know I can only go so long before a rainbow pops out, right?
PTI~Jolly HolidayAnd lastly, the gorgeous new Painted Poinsettias designed by Nichole Heady. This set is a stunner, let me tell you.
PTI~Painted PoinsettiasHow gorgeous are these multi-step poinsettia images? I love the fonts, too.

Homemade Holiday Gifts & Tags

Hello! I’m back with another group post for Papertrey Ink. Today we are showcasing some really fun new products that make your gift giving extra special.PTI~Cross Stitch Alphabet diesFirst up is the new Stitched Tag dies. I personalized it using the Cross Stitch Alphabet dies. I also added a few felt flowers using the Bitty Buttons Stacks dies.
PTI~Cross Stitch Alphabet diesHow fun is this for tucking a gift card inside? On the back I added a sentiment from the Cross Stitched set.
PTI~Cross StitchedNext is the Vintage Favor It Box die. I die cut the box on Soft Stone cardstock and then stamped the polka dot pattern using the Polka Dot Basics 2 with Fresh Snow ink.
PTI~Just a Little SomethingI used one of my circle dies to cut an opening, backed with clear cardstock so you could see the sour cherry candies inside. The sentiment is from the new Just a Little Something stamp set. Since I was on a roll, I added more felt flowers. Felt flowers are on everything today. I just love these little boxes that can be filled with so many different things. They are so easily customized and make any little gift seem so special.
PTI~Just a Little SomethingLastly I made a cupcake in a jar….or should I say, I attempted to make a cupcake in a jar.
PTI~CannedHow about this adorable Tasting Tag die? Is is cute or what? It die cuts those tiny holes in it so that you can tie your little wooden spoon to the tag. That fun sentiment is from the Canned set. Again, more felt flowers. I do not apologize for that either:)
PTI~CannedCan we talk about my attempted cupcake in a jar? It looked so cute until it just leaned right over as if to say, “Are you done with the pictures or what?” Just like a teenager giving me attitude. I thing I either need to make  bigger cupcakes or use a smaller jar? What’s the difference really, I mean, it disappeared before I could say, “boo”.
PTI~CannedAre you loving these fun new gift giving products as much as I am? Check out what the rest of the team cooked up with them.

Introducing Songbirds

Hello there! Today I’m back with Papertrey Ink for our second group post featuring the new Songbirds stamp set & coordinating dies. From the beautiful folk-style bird images to the musical banner sentiments, this set is build-able and perfect for many occasions year round.PTI~SongbirdsTo start off, I created a simple birthday card. I stamped the leafy branch in Limeade Ice and then added more detail with a Copic marker. I also inked up the bird in Berry Sorbet & rocked the bottom of the bird in Raspberry Fizz. After stamping the sentiment, I added a white silk ribbon bow.
PTI~SongbirdsNext up is a Christmas card using on of the holiday themed song banners.
PTI~SongbirdsI added a strip of pattern paper from the Sparkle & Shine paper pack and some die cut leaves behind the song banner. To finish it off I added a few coordinating enamel dots.
PTI~SongbirdsMy last project is a holiday inspired tag. I die cut more pattern paper from the Sparkly & Shine pack using the Tag Sale #8 die.
PTI~SongbirdsThis time I inked up the bird in Berry Sorbet and rocked his belly in Pure Poppy. More color details were added using Copics. The sentiment is from Framed Out #8 mini set.
PTI~SongbirdsCheck out what the rest of the design team created using the new Songbird set.

Monthly Moments: October

Hi there! I’m back again with Papertrey Ink as we showcase the new Monthly Moments: October collection.
PTI~Monthly Moments OctoberThis month’s collection has a fantastic journal card die with the tiny falling stars in it that I used here layered over some Harvest Gold striped paper. I stamped the “happy” as well as the pumpkin from the Monthly Moments stamp set and added the October word die. To finish it off…my beloved sparkling clear sequins and some gold striped twine that came from the dollar bin at Target….a long time ago. I tell you what…those Target dollar bins are dangerous. They are full of all kinds of doo dads that you seriously do not need but can’t live without, because it’s only a dollar.
PTI~Monthly Moments OctoberMake sure and check out what the rest of the design team created using this awesome new Monthly Moments: October collection.

PTI~Festival of Lights & Keep It Simple: Hanukkah

Hi there! Today I’m joining Papertrey Ink as we countdown to the October Release. Today I’m sharing a few projects featuring the new Festival of Lights & Keep It Simple: Hanukkah stamp set.PTI~Festival of LightsThis first card uses the Festival of Lights stamp set. I created a sort of Jewish Menorah for Hanukkah. I popped up the panel over some Harvest Gold striped paper as well as a thin strip of Enchanted Evening.
PTI~Festival of LightsNext up is a tag using the Star of David image from the Festival of Lights set. The sentiment is from the Keep it Simple: Hanukkah set.
PTI~Festival of Lights & Keep It Simple: HanukkahI used the Tag Sale #2 for the tag. I added a tiny clear gemstone in the middle of the star.
PTI~Festival of Lights & Keep It Simple: HanukkahNext is another very simple Hanukkah card using the Keep it Simple: Hanukkah set.
PTI~Keep It Simple: HanukkahI used post it tape to mask off some strips and then used my ink blender to blend in the ink. Not sure if this is Hanukkah festive or Hanukkah sinking in the ocean?? I tried ya’ll.
PTI~Keep It Simple: HanukkahAnd for my last card, I used the star-burst image to create a sort of angled rainbow border. You can see my progression, can’t you. I started this post out all traditional Jewish like, and by the end it’s right back to rainbows, lol.
PTI~Festival of LightsI mean, If I were Jewish, I’d be all over a rainbow Hanukkah card, not that this card couldn’t be used for a non-Jewish occasion. I think it could, don’t you? Such a gorgeous font on the sentiment.
PTI~Festival of LightsCheck out the Papertrey Ink blog to see more of the October release.
In other news, I have a winner to announce from my Simon Says Stamp~Cold Hands Warm Heart blog hop post….congratulations Morissa!

SSS~Good Tidings Village

Hi there! Today I’m just sharing a card using some fun Village dies from the latest Cold Hand Warm Hearts release by Simon Says Stamp.SSS~Village diesThese dies don’t have cut lines on the bottom so they are perfect for partial die cutting. You can easily make your own popped up village panel. For a soft winter sky, I blended in some Maliblue & Sea Glass ink, then added some white embossing paste using the Falling Snow stencil. The sentiment is from the Peace on Earth set. Love this sleepy little town.
SSS~Village diesIn other news…I have a winner to announce from the Clearly Besotted 2nd Anniversary blog hop….congratulations Janis in ID!!
