PTI-Release in Review

Hello! Today I’m sharing the remainder of my projects with you from the December release. All products will be available tonight at 10pm EST in the Papertrey Ink shop. First up is lovely Love Notes stamp set. Such gorgeous love themed sentiments. I used the Embellished Elegance set to frame everything.PTI-Love NotesThis next card features three new products: The Keep it Simple: Valentine, Type Strips 2 and Give Me a Hand.
PTI-Give Me a HandHow cute is this? Now that I’m looking it, it kinda looks like a cute girl with an aqua chevron shirt is giving her friend with the exact same shirt a valentine. It happens.
PTI-Give Me a HandNext up is the adorable Little Human stamp set with coordinating dies.
PTI-Little HumanAm I wearing you out? Lots of cards to share. I don’t know how I finished all of this. Honestly, I don’t remember the last 24hrs…honestly.
PTI-Phrase Play #11This card features the new Phrase Play #11 set. Did I mention that my daughter, Alex, turned 14 today. That’s probably 99% of the reason I don’t remember anything. 14 years old? I just can’t believe she’s 14.
PTI-Phrase Play #11Let’s not forget about Christmas in the midst of all this valentine & birthday goodness. Here’s a card using the Tinsel & Tags House Additions as well as the Birthday Classics: January stamp set. I used the Snowdrifts dies to create a winter scene for the cute log cabin.
PTI-Birthday Classics: January & Tinsel & Tags House AdditionsNext up is Drips & Dribbles. I used one of the ring images and clear embossed it onto Tropical Teal cardstock creating a graphic background pattern.
PTI-Drips & DribblesI used the Wet Paint Holiday stamps & dies for my sentiment. This is my proudest loose metallic thread moment ever. It’s like a good hair day, only it’s metallic thread.
PTI-Drips & DribblesI’ve got one last card for dessert featuring the Hello There & Keep it Simple: You’re Invited sets. There was some rock n’ rollin’ involved in those cupcakes. If only I could give you a cupcake for staying with me till the end of my post…I just wish I could. I’d save the pink one for me, though. Hope that’s ok.

Introducing Love You to Pieces

Hi there! Today I’m back again with Papertrey Ink for our last group post featuring the new Love You to Pieces collection designed by Betsy Veldman.PTI-Love You to PiecesEven though this collection has a definite Valentines feel to it, it can certainly be adapted for other occasions. Here I’ve created a fun & foxy birthday ensemble.
PTI-Love You to PiecesI am so in love with this adorable fox. The coasters work perfectly for this, especially with a little rock n’ roll inking using Summer Sunrise & Orange Zest. I also added a custom name to my envelope using the Block Alphabet dies as well as a sentiment from the Phrase Play #11 stamp set.
PTI-Love You to PiecesThe above photo is what the backside of the envelope looks like. I used the Zipper Envelope die to make it a tear open envelope. Below you can see what is inside once you tear it open. The ready to assemble coaster fox as well as printable instructions. I tell you what, Betsy didn’t leave a single detail out. She really outdid herself with these designs.PTI-Love You to PiecesThis next card showcases the smaller fox image with the coordinating die.
PTI-Love You to PiecesI used one of the solid circle images from the Beautiful Blooms 2 to create my balloons and my 3/4″ circle punch to punch them out. There was a lot of rock n’ roll inking going on here. I love the dimension it gives to these images.
PTI-Love You to PiecesMake sure and check out what the rest of the team created with this amazing new Love You to Pieces collection.

Introducing Big Hugs

Hi there! I’m back for another group post with Papertrey Ink featuring the new Big Hugs stamp set & coordinating dies. I can’t say enough good about this set. The font choices are amazing. There are five coordinating word dies, and if you are anything like me, then you would be in word die heaven, which I am.PTI-Big HugsMy first card showcases one of the hug word dies. How gorgeous is this handwritten font? I love how it pairs with the typewriter looking font of the sentiment. I masked off the bottom angle and blended in Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise & Berry Sorbet.
PTI-Big HugsMy next card uses only the stamp set.
PTI-Big HugsI added some Copic coloring to the flowers in large hugs sentiment as well as white embossing the message below.
PTI-Big HugsI can’t wait to see what the rest of the team has created using this fantastic new set. Thanks so much for stopping by!

SSS~Better Together release

bettertogetherblogHave you seen the new Better Together release over in the Simon Says Stamp store? So much goodness full of Valentine’s fun and products for spreading love all through the year. I have just a couple cards to share today, but I’m sure there will be much more to come!
SSS-Soaring for YouMy first card features the new Soaring for You stamp set with coordinating dies. I love making colorful kites that can soar off the side of the card, and those delicate kite tails….love! I stamped the tails in a soft Smoke ink. Then I heat embossed the kites in clear and then blended in some color using SSS inks. I also added just a touch of Sea Glass to the bottom of my card to give it the feeling of wayyyy up in the air. You know how it goes, the feeling of bliss when the kite is soaring only to get stuck in the tree and your kid cries for the rest of the afternoon…yeah, that.
SSS-Soaring for YouThis next card features the fun new Quite the Pear stamp set as well as the Sending die and Greeting Blocks to create that window.
SSS-Quite the PearThis just cracks me up, because our cat stalks us night & day through the window. I love the bow tie and that Sending die….that handwritten font…so gorgeous! You just know it’s gotta be Kristina’s handwriting. Love it!
