Hi there! Today I have a project up on the Mama Elephant blog featuring the new Bootastic creative cut dies that coordinate with the previously released Bootastic stamp set.I created a partially die cut window with the witch still intact and popped up in front of a Halloween-y, neon purple-y background.
Here’s a little video to show you how easy it is to make these partially die cut window.

Hi there! Today I’m excited to be joining the Tag You’re It challenge blog for their second challenge. I love tags, and I think this challenge is such a great idea. I hope you will join in the fun!
For my tag I started with some Tim Holtz watercolor paper and embossed the Grid Background stamp in clear. Then I did the “smoosh” technique by inking up my acrylic block with Distress inks, spritzing with water and smooshing it onto the watercolor paper. If you haven’t seen the “smooshing” action before, here’s a post where I share a video of this fun technique.
After the ink dried, I added some die cut vellum leaves, the sentiment and some glossy accent dots.
Head over to the Tag You’re It challenge blog to check out what the fabulous design team has created for this challenge! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hi there! I’m back again today with Papertrey Ink for another group post. Today’s post is all about creating custom phone cases using the new Phone Case & Details dies.First I die cut my phone case with Ocean Tides felt & then die cut about a million colorful little diamonds to stitch on the front. I went round and round about how to customize it. There’s just so many options to pick from such as monograms, flowers, stripes and chevrons, etc.
I used the same diamond dies and colors of cardstock to coordinate with the case.
I used the one of the Wet Paint dies for my sentiment as well as the Stylish Sentiments: Birthdays stamp set.
I’m proud to announce that this passed the teenage daughter approval test. Whew! Not an easy test to pass. She let me borrow her iPod for the photo shoot, while she made grilled cheese for supper. Not a bad trade, right? One custom case for a night out of the kitchen. She did the dishes, too…woot!
Check out what the rest of the team came up with using these fun new products:

Welcome to the Create A Smile First Release Blog Hop!
When Christine Drogt started illustrating and sharing images with friends, it soon became crystal-clear that those images would make awesome clear stamps. Because Christine has always loved to make people smile (it can be as easy as smiling at strangers!) the name was found quickly (thanks to her friend Alison!) and the vision became reality.
