January 2012 Blog Hop

Happy Blog Hop Day!!  So, we were supposed to pick our favorite creation from 2011.  I had a hard time, but I finally chose this one:

I liked the colorful background pattern that you could create with modern basics, so I tried recreating it here:

After all this, I still really wanted something even simpler, so I ended up going this direction:

And now I’m truly, truly satisfied.  Quite a bit different from the original, but it’s most important to make mama bear happy:)
