PTI~Release in Review

Hi there! I’m back to share the remainder of my Papertrey Ink projects from the November release. Everything will be available to purchase tonight at 10pm EST in the Papertrey Ink store. My first card features the new Mat Stack 7 Basics set with these fabulous coordinating dies. I used them here to create a several layered windows.
PTI~Mat Stack 7My next card uses the new Happy New Year set for the colorful banners & the Keep It Simple: New Year for the sentiment. I also added some starts using the Small Sketched Stars dies.
PTI~Happy New YearNot sure if you can see it, but I added a little Wink of Stella to the stars for some bling, ya know, cuz it’s new years and all.
PTI~Happy New Year
Next up is the Fair Isle Motifs & Holiday Thanks set. I embossed the large Fair Isle image in white on Pure Poppy cardstock.
PTI~Holiday ThanksI’m pretty sure I channeled Cristina Kowalczyk on this one, don’t ya think? Every once in a while, when that happens, I do a happy jig.
PTI~Holiday ThanksThis tag features the new Pom Pom Pals. I couldn’t wait to color this adorable penguin. This set has the cutest images ever.
PTI~Pom Pom PalsI added the name using the Type Strips & Type Strips Numbers. Such a fun way to customize a tag that could become a keepsake ornament…that is, if it survives…highly unlikely.
PTI~Pom Pom PalsThis next card uses A Cheerful Heart set designed by Dawn McVey. Such beautiful sentiments of encouragement.
PTI~A Cheerful HeartI layered the gorgeous Cover Plate: Peony die over some subtle ink blending using Berry Sorbet & Harvest Gold. I embossed the sentiment in white on some vellum.
PTI~A Cheerful HeartMy last card uses the new Birthday Classics: December as well as the Floral Flaps dies.

Introducing Cuppa Love

Hello! I’m back with Papertrey Ink for our final group post showcasing the new Cuppa Love stamp set & coordinating dies.PTI~Cuppa LoveHow fun is this mug die shape? I think it’s such a great idea for sending get well wishes.
PTI~Cuppa LoveI used the stamps to create a floral frame to my sentiment and added a little die cut tea-bag to hang off the side using one of the coordinating dies. The possibilities are endless with these beautiful floral images.
PTI~Cuppa LoveThis second mug uses a little rock n’ roll for the blooms. I also used my ink blender, some post-it tape and vintage cream ink to create a soft vintage-y feel to the edge of the mugs. I’m not typically a vintage-y gal, nor am I a tea drinker, ha ha…but I do enjoy a good french fry with my burger and a homemade chocolate chip cookie. I will say this…if I had a gorgeous mug like this, I would totally put my Coke in it.
PTI~Cuppa LoveYou know what my problem is with tea…every. single. time…I burn my tongue. I have hot liquid issues. Even with hot chocolate. I haven’t mastered the hot liquid safety slurp that my hubby does so well and so loudly.
PTI~Cuppa LoveI used the same floral design from my first mug and created this get well card.

Introducing Uncorked

Hello there! I’m back again with our second group post for Papertrey Ink featuring the new Uncorked stamp set & coordinating dies.PTI~UncorkedI’ve created a bottle tag as well as a coordinating card. I used the coordinating dies and some ink blending to create these colorful wine glasses.
PTI~UncorkedThis is such a fun and easy way to dress up a bottle of wine or even sparkling grape juice so the whole family can enjoy it.
PTI~UncorkedI’m not really a wine drinker, but I do love a good Coke with my burger, lol. I don’t even like coffee. It tastes like hot dirt to me. I’m totally missing out on the whole Starbucks trend, I know, but if I had some awesome ombre wine glasses like these…I would totally put my Coke in one:)

PTI~Phrase Play #10

Hello! Today I’m joining Papertrey Ink as we begin counting down to the November release. My projects today are featuring the new Phrase Play #10 stamp set & coordinating die.
PTI~Phrase Play #10
For my first card I used a bunch of paper scraps, creating little sewn banners. Then I die cut the sentiment only from the coordinating die and stacked three of them together, giving some thickness.
PTI~Phrase Play #10
For this next card I used my Copics to color the vines from the Phrase Play #10 die.
PTI~Phrase Play #10
I used some Melon Berry pattern paper from the In Bloom paper pack for my background.
PTI~Phrase Play #10
Lastly I pulled out my Peerless Watercolors and painted a loose background to adhere my die over top of.
PTI~Phrase Play #10
I added some sewn loopy ribbon for fun. I “might” have gotten carried away with the “loopiness” of the ribbon:) I used score tape to get the loops to stay right where I wanted them.PTI~Phrase Play #10
