Today I’ve got a Paper Smooches card to share. This one uses the Numbers dies and Digits stamps.
I die cut the numbers and stamped the Digits in the negative space. Then I embossed the sentiment from Birthday Sampler in white. I used foam tape to pop up the front panel.

Close to My Heart~Dream Pop

Hello there! Today I’ve got some fun projects to share using some Close to My Hearts products. My sweet friend Elizabeth sent me some gorgeous goodies to play with. I’m not usually a pattern paper lover, but this Dream Pop paper pack changed all that. I’m totally in love with the patterns, colors and cheerful trendiness of these papers. For the first card I used some Dream Pop paper and my circle punches to pop up a few repeating images and adding some sequins. The sentiment is from the Love Life set. Such a gorgeous font. See what I mean about the gorgeous papers?

This second card uses the Dream Pop paper again and a free camera cut file from Two Peas.
Next, I did some masking and stamping. This sentiment is from the Casual Expressions set. By the way, I should mention that these stamps stamp like butter…and I know my butter, if you know what I mean:) I used PTI’s Faux Ribbon set for the stripes.
And for my final tag, I used some more Dream Pop paper and another sentiment from the Casual Expressions set.

Runway Inspired Challenge #36

Time for the next Runway Inspired Challenge. This week we have another fun inspiration photo. The deep, vibrant red color and the triangles stood out to me. Here’s what I came up with:
I started with some Studio Calico pattern paper from an old card kit. Then I used some Simon Says Stamp goodies. I die cut the gold triangles using the Full Card Triangles die on some gold cardstock from Hobby Lobby. Luckily I had some red satin fabric in my stash which really went with the models sateen pants to create the flower. Betsy Veldman has a great tutorial for making flowers here. I used the Outline Dahlia die to create my flower.

Happy Friday all! Today I’ve got a few Paper Smooches projects to share. This first one is my fave. French fries are my fave. This would be the perfect tag for someone like…me:) It’s from the Think Fast set and the sentiment is from Slang Gang, which is also my fave. I also used the Zig Zag tag die. I paper pieced the fries and added just a little bit of Copics for some shading on the fries.Next up is one using the Borders 1 dies and senitment from Chit Chat set. Simple rainbow love here.
And lastly, I combined the Wicked Nautical set with Ovals 1 dies and Borders 1 dies for the waves. I did some ink blending in the back ground for a sunset and embossed the sentiment in white.

Hello there! Today I’ve got a Jane’s Doodles card to share using two new sets: I Got This and Geometric Patterns. I masked off the sentiment, stamped the triangle pattern and then colored a few triangles in with some Copics. Thanks for looking!

Poppin’ in for one last day with Neat & Tangled and their May release. Today’s card features the new Across the Card stamp set. This set has an ultra thin stripe in it, and you know how I love a stripe. I created a simple pattern in the center while masking off the sentiment. I’m back again to share another new stamp for Neat & Tangled’s May release. This fun sunburst stamp looks amazing in neon yellow ink.
