Designer Phone Case Inspirations

Hi there! I’m back again today with Papertrey Ink for another group post. Today’s post is all about creating custom phone cases using the new Phone Case & Details dies.PTI~Phone Case diesFirst I die cut my phone case with Ocean Tides felt & then die cut about a million colorful little diamonds to stitch on the front. I went round and round about how to customize it. There’s just so many options to pick from such as monograms, flowers, stripes and chevrons, etc.
PTI~Phone Case diesI used the same diamond dies and colors of cardstock to coordinate with the case.
PTI~Phone Case diesI used the one of the Wet Paint dies for my sentiment as well as the Stylish Sentiments: Birthdays stamp set.
PTI~Phone Case diesI’m proud to announce that this passed the teenage daughter approval test. Whew! Not an easy test to pass. She let me borrow her iPod for the photo shoot, while she made grilled cheese for supper. Not a bad trade, right? One custom case for a night out of the kitchen. She did the dishes, too…woot!

Hi there! I’m back again today with Papertrey Ink for another group post featuring three new travel theme sets.PTI~Pack Your BagsThis first card uses the new Pack Your Bags stamp set designed by Dawn McVey. Really cute two-step stamping suitcase images.
PTI~Pack Your BagsThese next two cards feature the new These United States stamp set & coordinating dies.
PTI~These United StatesI used the United States die to cut an opening in some striped Soft Stone pattern paper. The heart is supposed to be placed in the heart of Illinois, my home:)
PTI~These United StatesI made one more with some Soft Stone polka dot pattern paper and another sentiment from the stamp set.
PTI~These United StatesI used the Vertical Striped Cover Plate for the tone on tone background.
PTI~These United StatesAnd lastly, a couple of luggage tags using the new Tag Sale #11 die.
PTI~Get Lost, Tag Sale #11The sentiments are from the new Get Lost stamp set designed by Nichole. These sentiments have such beautiful font combinations.
PTI~Get Lost, Tag Sale #11The journal papers from the Monthly Moments collections work great for these luggage tags. The orange polka dotted one is from the June paper pack and the blue one is from the July pack.

Monthly Moments: July

Hello! Today I’m joining Papertrey Ink as we highlight the new Monthly Moments: July collection.PTI~Monthly Moments: JulyAlthough this collection might be geared towards memory keeping, the graphic images & fun sentiments can make for quick & easy card making as well. I stamped the graphic row of arrows in fun bright colors all pointing towards the “celebrate” sentiment.
PTI~Monthly Moments: JulySpeaking of celebrating…look who just turned 4 yrs. old! I swear she was just born yesterday! She thoroughly enjoyed her cake and presents this year. She got princess everything, even a princess fishing pole, lol!   IMG_0050 So thankful for little Emma Belle.

Welcome to the Create A Smile First Release Blog Hop!
Create a Smile is a new stamp company in town, located in Germany!

When Christine Drogt started illustrating and sharing images with friends, it soon became crystal-clear that those images would make awesome clear stamps.  Because Christine has always loved to make people smile (it can be as easy as smiling at strangers!) the name was found quickly (thanks to her friend Alison!) and the vision became reality.

Create A Smile

a few Paper Smooches projects

Hi there! Today I’m just sharing a couple of new Paper Smooches projects. This first card uses the new Cat Icon dies.Paper SmoochesI blended in the ink under the cute paw prints. The sentiment is from the Feline Friends stamp set.
Paper SmoochesThis next card uses the gorgeous new Blossoming Buds stamp set.
Paper SmoochesI used the Stitched dies to create the curved bottom edge. I only embossed the stitched lines into my white card base, but I die cut the stitched lines onto the pattern paper and then trimmed off the edge to adhere to the card. Clear as mud? I should have taken pictures of this, but I’m an airhead.
Paper SmoochesI do have a winner to announce for my little “red goodies giveaway“. Congratulations Janet Trapp! I will be emailing you:) Thanks so much for stopping by!
