Hello there! Today I am sharing some of my February Paper Smooches projects with you. This card uses my two favorite products from the February release: the Flower dies and the Scripty Sayings stamp set. You can layer the flower die cuts in a million different ways and get a different look each time.
This next card uses the new Hooties and Owl Icons dies. That owl cracks me up. The look on his face is priceless. It’s like I can’t tell if the owl is mad, annoyed, being sarcastic or puttin’ out the sexy vibe? Either way, I laugh.
I used a mixture of pattern papers, colored the owl with Copics and added a little wink of stella here and there.
And lastly I created a little St.Patty’s Day tag using the new Spring dies and Scallop Tag die.
I die cut a couple shamrocks from pattern paper and stitched them onto the tag.
The sentiment from this tag is from A Magical Spring stamp set. Here’s what that fun stamp set looks like: Guess what…I have an extra one to give away! Woot! Just leave me a comment, and I’ll pick a lucky winner to send this fun stamp set to. Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Hello, there! I’m so exciting to be joining Simon Says Stamp for their spring release blog hop! If you are following the hop, then you should have arrived here from the lovely and talented Kathy Racoosin’s blog. You can always go to the Simon Says Stamp blog to start the hop. There are so many fabulous new products to show you. I just know that you are going to fall madly in love with them. The entire spring release can be found HERE.
For my first card, I used the new Wide Stripes Background stamp, which I inked up with several Simon Says Stamp inks. I used the new Big You die for the sentiment as well as the Striped Greetings stamp set. All of these new products are linked below and are available right now…you don’t have to wait, woot!
For this next card, I used the Large Polka Dots stencil and clear embossing powder, and then blended in some of the new and delicious inks. I adore these new pastel colors.
The Balloon dies were nestled in with a vellum strip that was stamped with the Hello You stamp set. You can see how well the new line of cardstock coordinates with the new inks.
Here’s a video to show you how I created my projects.
Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a goody bag to one commenter on every blog in the hop. That’s 17 different chances to win!
Your next stop on the hop is the amazing Nichol Magouirk. Thanks so much for hopping by!
New ink & cardstock:
Hello! Today we are highlighting another new stamp set by Mama Elephant. This one is called Origami. It is a fun set full of origami style images and cute sentiments.
I stamped the origami images onto a tag and colored them with Copics. Then, I layered another tag die cut with patter paper from Simple Stories. I love the sketchy look of theses sentiments, don’t you? Not sure if this image is a fox or a cat, either way it’s darn cute, especially with those hearts.
Check out the Mama Elephant blog for more projects using this cool new set. Thanks for looking!
I’m back again today with Mama Elephant as we highlight the new True Friend stamp set.
This set is full of fabulous sentiments as well as a thick solid strip, which is what I used to stamp the rows of colors with Mama Elephant inks.
For the little hearts, I die cut them with the new Confetti die. You can see below how I inked the hearts. I turned a few stamps over to get a solid surface and inked the hearts with coordinating colors.
So that’s all for today. You guys gave me a few good chuckles yesterday with your “hot date” stories. I think I like you guys after all, lol! Check out the Mama Elephant blog to see more inspiration using this fun new stamp set! Thanks for looking!!
Hello friends! Today I’m joining Mama Elephant as they highlight the new Honey Bunny stamp set.
Aren’t these bunnies adorable? I used some of the accessories in the stamp set to dress them up for their hot date. Hot date? What is that? A hot date around here consists of Little Caesar’s pizza and a Redbox movie. Oh well, I wouldn’t change it. I’m a home body anyways. The idea of fixing my hair wears me out, and I’ve become so darn picky about restaurants these days. I never thought I’d become so much like my Mom, but I have. We both love to cook and eat good food and most restaurants, at least in my little town don’t know the difference between a good pasta sauce and jar of Prego. There I said it. If I’m gonna eat out, I’ll have something that I don’t cook at home, like fries. I do not fry. I hate the smell and the mess, but I love french fries. Does anybody even care about the bunny card anymore? LOL!
I used a tiny heart from the Confetti stamp set to stamp the background. I paper pieced the bunnies and added some wink of stella to the heart and some liquid pearls to the center of the flowers. So what’s you’re idea of a hot date?? Thanks for stopping by! Check out the Mama Elephant blog to see what the other ladies made using this cute new stamp set.
Hello there! I had the great pleasure of playing with the awesome new Simon Says Stamp March card kit. Here it is in all it’s glory! Hello awesome rainbow of color and Lawn Fawn pattern papers!! But look at the stamp set included…
I couldn’t wait to play with that crayon image. I have always loved crayons, and most especially when they’re new. It makes me want to cry when I see a kid break a crayon in half. There’s something just so wrong about that, isn’t there? We have about 500 boxes of crayons around here, and I just keep buying new ones, because they’re just better when they’re new. I have issues, clearly, but here’s what I came up with.
I masked off the crayons as I stamped them so that I could layer them. Then I colored them with my Copics.
Check out the Simon Says Stamp blog for more information on the March card kit!. Thanks so much for looking!
This is my third post for today. Sorry if you saw this post yesterday. I made a mistake and posted it too early. I’ve lost my marbles, but that’s besides the point:) For my Papertrey Ink post, please scroll down.
Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop!
Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store:
For my card, I used the new True Friend stamp set. I embossed the sentiment in white and masked off circles to blend in the ink with my ink blender.
