STAMPtember® 2015 release:
Hello! Just popping in to share a couple more projects using the September Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp.I have been so incredibly inspired by Lucy and her amazing stitched shaker cards. That woman is a shaker making machine!! Her clean style and perfectly executed cards inspire me every time. I wanted to try this stitched shaker idea out and guess what, it’s awesome!!! They actually shake and there’s no bulk. Now, if I could only stitch in a straight line, for Pete’s sake!
The pattern papers in the September card kit are absolutely gorgeous. All you need to do is stamp a sentiment. I stitched some plastic sheeting on the front, but before I completely finished stitching it, I carefully tucked in some sequins. The September Card Kit also comes with these cool little acetate cards. I used one here and did the same thing. I also added a die cut sentiment from the Summer Greetings die set.
So, now I need more sequins, ha ha…no, I do NOT need more sequins, but seriously, have you seen Lucy’s new line of sequins? Good golly, I’m in trouble. Thanks so much for stopping by!

I used the new Heartfelt Thanks die on my card. For the background, I blended in some Simon Says Stamp ink ink and then adhered several chevron stripes using the new Borders 3 dies. Both of these new dies will be available on August 31st. To finish it off I added a bit of loosey goosey silver thread and some gorgeous rainstones.
Thanks so much for hopping by!

Hi there! Today I have a project on the Mama Elephant blog featuring the Birthday Wishes stamp set as well as the Classic Stripe Cover creative cut.I blended several Mama Elephant pigment inks to add color to my two panels. After stamping the birthday sentiment on both panels, I die cut the blue panel with with the Classic Strip Cover die and then adhered it over top of the pink panel, lining up the sentiments to look as one. Here’s a quick video to show you how I created my card:
This is such a cool effect and really showcases both the gorgeous scripty sentiment as well as the fun Classic Stripe Cover die. That’s all for today, folks! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hi there! Just popping in to share a fun shaker card using some Simon Says Stamp goodies. This is like an epic shaker. It’s a great way to showcase all the different colors, whether you’re using sequins or seed beads. This Ring Frame die has 12 little circles that are perfect for creating 12 little shaker windows. Using a sheet of double-sided foam makes this surprisingly simple. Not sure if you can tell, but the panel is actually Cream Off White cardstock(my fave) with the ring die cut being Neenah Solar White. I love the subtle contrast against the colorful seed beads.
I blended some Sea Glass & Blue Jay ink onto the Painted Enjoy word die cut and white embossed a sentiment from Happy and Smile. Can you hear me singing “Shake it Off” by Taylor Swift over here? If you can, I apologize in advance, lol! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hello there! Today I’m sharing another Mama Elephant highlight project using the new Heartfelt Wishes stamp set with coordinating dies.To create my striped background I masked off strips using post-it tape and blended in several Mama Elephant pigment inks. Using my grid pad really helped me to get consistent and parallel spacing to my stripes. I LOVE that this set offers a thank you sentiment in German. I layered four of those die cuts together to give it some thickness and stamped a coordinating sentiment underneath.
You can see more of the fabulous projects by the design team using this new Heartfelt Wishes stamp set over on the Mama Elephant blog. Thanks for stopping by!
