Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® Blog Hop! September has always been my favorite time of the year, but now that there’s STAMPtember®, it’s just over the top the best month ever! Did you know that this is the 7th annual STAMPtember® for Simon Says Stamp? How amazing is that? I think one of my favorite things about STAMPtember® is the excitement in the air and the anticipation of amazing new products. I also really look forward to seeing the collaborations that Simon Says Stamp does with other companies. It bring our paper crafting community together in the most awesome way. You might notice that that card I’m sharing today is also one of the projects in the blog hop banner. There are a few more that I can’t wait to share with you, but today….we shake with the Large Party Circle die! This Large Party Circle die is a shaker party waiting to happen. I layered three of the die cuts for some dimension and then adhered it to a panel of Island Blue cardstock.
I also added a little Wink of Stella for some shimmer as well as an embossed sentiment from Birthday Messages.
Here’s a video to show you how I made my shaker. Simon Says Stamp is giving away some incredible prizes….(possibly some of the new collaboration stamp sets…..hot diggity dog!) Leave me a comment for your chance to win!
Your next stop on the hop is the incredibly talented & amazing Debby Hughes.

STAMPtember® 2015 release:
Hello! Just popping in to share a couple more projects using the September Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp.I have been so incredibly inspired by Lucy and her amazing stitched shaker cards. That woman is a shaker making machine!! Her clean style and perfectly executed cards inspire me every time. I wanted to try this stitched shaker idea out and guess what, it’s awesome!!! They actually shake and there’s no bulk. Now, if I could only stitch in a straight line, for Pete’s sake!
The pattern papers in the September card kit are absolutely gorgeous. All you need to do is stamp a sentiment. I stitched some plastic sheeting on the front, but before I completely finished stitching it, I carefully tucked in some sequins. The September Card Kit also comes with these cool little acetate cards. I used one here and did the same thing. I also added a die cut sentiment from the Summer Greetings die set.
So, now I need more sequins, ha ha…no, I do NOT need more sequins, but seriously, have you seen Lucy’s new line of sequins? Good golly, I’m in trouble. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hi there! Today I have a project on the Mama Elephant blog featuring the Birthday Wishes stamp set as well as the Classic Stripe Cover creative cut.I blended several Mama Elephant pigment inks to add color to my two panels. After stamping the birthday sentiment on both panels, I die cut the blue panel with with the Classic Strip Cover die and then adhered it over top of the pink panel, lining up the sentiments to look as one. Here’s a quick video to show you how I created my card:
This is such a cool effect and really showcases both the gorgeous scripty sentiment as well as the fun Classic Stripe Cover die. That’s all for today, folks! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hi there! Just popping in to share a fun shaker card using some Simon Says Stamp goodies. This is like an epic shaker. It’s a great way to showcase all the different colors, whether you’re using sequins or seed beads. This Ring Frame die has 12 little circles that are perfect for creating 12 little shaker windows. Using a sheet of double-sided foam makes this surprisingly simple. Not sure if you can tell, but the panel is actually Cream Off White cardstock(my fave) with the ring die cut being Neenah Solar White. I love the subtle contrast against the colorful seed beads.
I blended some Sea Glass & Blue Jay ink onto the Painted Enjoy word die cut and white embossed a sentiment from Happy and Smile. Can you hear me singing “Shake it Off” by Taylor Swift over here? If you can, I apologize in advance, lol! Thanks so much for stopping by!
