Gift Exchange with Clear & Simple Stamps

Clear and Simple Stamps has made the choice to “go green” and revitalize the CSS current color line. You will see a few new colors and some vintage colors no longer being offered, in an effort to provide product made from renewable contents. All of the color coordinated products are made in the USA. The paper comes from mills that practice responsible, sustainable forestry while manufacturing the highest quality paper products on the market. These mills are powered by renewable energy sources, and our paper products are made of 100% recycled content with 30% PCW (post-consumer waste). We are very pleased to announce our commitment to incorporate environmental practices into our daily crafting.Β I chose to work with the color Pressed Greige Linen. This is a fabulous neutral color. A perfect alternative to Kraft. I was also given some new white wrapping paper to play with. I knew exactly what I wanted to try when I saw it. I’m sure it’s no surprise that I wanted to try some plaid stamping on the wrapping paper.

Gift ExchangeI masked off the wrapping paper leaving only the top portion to stamp the plaid using the Create-a-Plaid set. Then I added a strip of Pressed Greige Linen cardstock to wrap around the gift and tied it all up with some twine.

Gift ExchangeThe tag is also made using Pressed Greige Linen. Sentiment is from the Love Cupid set, and that tiny heart is from the Build-a-Critter Owl die set.
Check out the fun gift exchange ideas the rest of the team came up with:

  2. First of all, good job to CSS! Secondly, goodness you do make plaid look easy and so stunning. I always say that, but I can never get over it. I go look at that stamp and think, uh, alrighty then. Not. But then again, I keep going back, so there may be hope because I love, love, love plaid! Your colors here are devine.
