Release in Review

Hi all! I’ve got a bunch of projects to share today for Papertrey Ink’s September release in review. Let’s just jump right in, shall we? First up is the Polka Dot Parade set designed by Melissa Bickford.
PTI-Polka Dot Parade #8I’ve been wanting to try this die cutting technique ever since I saw JJ Bolton work her magic on this card. I love how Maile did this, too, on this card.
PTI-Polka Dot Parade #8Speaking of Maile, she designed this next set, Holiday Cheer.
PTI-Holiday CheerI wasn’t about to part with that many enamel dots at one time, so I used white liquid pearls and then colored them with Copics.
PTI-Holiday CheerAnd here’s another card from the Holiday Cheer set.
PTI-Holiday CheerI colored the wreath in with Copics and then added glossy accents.
PTI-Holiday CheerNext up is this beautifully ornate set designed by Dawn McVey called Boutique Borders.
PTI-Boutique BordersI stamped the frame and used an Xacto knife to cut slits along the sides to thread some ribbon. That decorative ribbon is quite old and from Hobby Lobby. Does anyone else get stuck in a trance while visiting the Hobby Lobby ribbon isle?
PTI-Boutique BordersThis next Stained Glass set was designed by Lexi Daily.
PTI-Stained GlassI felt that this image was fitting for a bookmark. I don’t have a bookmark die, so I just trimmed a piece of cardstock and rounded the edges with my scissors. The image was colored with Copics.
PTI-Stained GlassKid Kudos, designed by Erin Lincoln, is perfect to use for little lunchbox notes and pillow-box treats.
PTI-Kid KudosAnd lastly, Holiday Home, designed by Melissa Bickford, is a perfect companion to the Cover Plate: Snow Drifts die.
PTI-Holiday HomeAre you still with me? Are you still breathing? Everything ok? Good. Thanks so much for stopping by today!
