Introducing Happy Hearts

Hello there! Today I’m joining with Papertrey Ink to showcase the new Happy Hearts stamp set and coordinating Cover Plate: Hearts die. This set has endless possibilities, but far greater than the fun design aspect is the encouraging message behind it that you can give to those you love.PTI~Happy HeartsFor my first card I used the cover plate to create this tone on tone background and then splattered a little gold mist.
PTI~Happy HeartsI made a simple rosette with pattern paper, adhering it over a bit of loose thread and then trimmed a banner for the sentiment.
PTI~Happy HeartsMy next card uses the left-over hearts that were cut from cover plate on the card above.
PTI~Happy HeartsI stamped the hearts with the fun patterns in the Happy Heart stamp set with several different colors and then stitched the hearts onto the card front.
PTI~Happy HeartsAre you loving this stamp set and cover plate die as much as I am? Check out what the rest of the design team came up with using these fabulous new products:

  1. These are gorgeous! I love especially love the one with the stitched on hearts – great patterns and wonderful sentiment!

  2. Very, very cute cards. Makes me want to run out and buy a sewing machine. Love the colors on white, and the stitching is phanominal. You are so creative!

  3. Your cards are absolutely beautiful, Laura! I love how you stitched the stamped hearts so much ~ I can’t sew in a straight line, so I’m really impressed! Your cover plate card is also gorgeous…The hearts are so pretty behind your sweet Rosette, and I love how you draped the loose thread!

  4. Your cards are gorgeous! Love the colors you use & your cards look simple but are not always so. So many ideas for hearts now …

  5. Absolutely in love! The first card is just amazing, and beside the awesome stitching, I love that the heart stamped underneath is a different color/pattern on your second.
