Hello there! Today is the first group post with Papertrey Ink. For the first group post we are featuring the new Simple Stars stamp set and coordinating Cover Plate die.The nice things about the new Simple Stars stamp set is that it can work easily for both masculine and feminine cards. This first card is a bit more masculine. My brother is very patriotic and would love something like this. I die cut three panels of blue cardstock with the Stars Cover Plate and layered them for thickness. I also adhere a some red, gold and lighter blue stars in a few of the openings and embossed the sentiment in white.
This next card is a litte more feminine .
First I ran a piece of white cardstock through the Star Cover Plate die and then stamped them in various colors and patterns from the Simple Stars stamp set. I stitched the stars to the card front to create a fun banner look.
I just know that the rest of the design team probably came up with some amazing ideas using this new stamp set and die. Check them out and drool away:)
