  3. Well I wasn’t upset that you used music – it was a short video and I appreciate you squeezing in the time to do it. 9. Music is fine sometimes, but we all love listening to you describe the steps. IT’s helpful to those of us just starting out, too. I’m sure it’s very time consuming… maybe combine the music with voice over! Love this card. Thanks for sharing with us, as always.

  15. OMG, Laura, you missed your calling in life, you should have been a stand up comedian lol! I missed your non talking video somehow (how did that happen, I NEVER miss your videos!), but I wouldn’t have liked that either. I lead a very quiet life and your humorous chit chat makes my day šŸ™‚ And oh yes, your card is FANTABULOUS, your just as a talented a card maker as you are a comedian lol!

  16. Yes! Keep talking on your videos! And keep making cards! For a little while you were making cards, but not doing many videos and I was missing them! I always enjoy your videos and your humor!

  19. Lovely card! Never stop the chit-chatter!! Your cards are inspiring and your voice overs so entertaining! A great combo!!!

  20. Please, please keep up the chatting! It makes my day! My teenage son was sitting here the first time I was listening to you use ‘hot lips’ ink and even he got a kick out of it! Love hearing about your kids and love, love, love your cards & videos! It’s just not the same without the voice over videos.

  21. Laura, you are simply delightful! I love your videos and your personality that shines through when you are busy creating and sharing. I do believe that you are quiet by nature (I am, too), but your passion for stamping really brings your sweet soul to life! Thanks for sharing with us.

    (I really hope I win!)

  39. Keep on “keeping on” just as you have been doing. The cards are always lovely (love this ink smooshing thing…and it’s not as easy as it looks…need more videos šŸ™‚ ) and your comments make me smile and sometimes laugh out loud! The card kit is great BTW!

  40. Another vote for your voice overs, can’t iagine watching without them and I love when you sing a liitle phrase! Ha, you are too much fun!! Thanks for bringing cheer to my day! And your cards are fab too!!

  45. You are really great with the smooshing technique!!! I have tried it and I just don’t seem to have the knack for it!! You are incredibly talented and artistic!!! Love seeing your creations and your videos are just fun!!

  46. Your video is just DELIGHTFUL!! I love seeing the video WITH your voice over although the previous one is still pretty awesome! I {heart} this card SO much!

  47. Truthfully, you’re such a pleasure to listen to, your voice overs are in a dead heat with your beautiful cardmaking. This card is an example of that. LThat being said love your aesthetic and your cheerful, fun stories. If you received any feedback that wasn’t totally positive on your last video, that’s why. We just miss your voice.

  48. What a pretty card. I like the way the heart is stamped off the edge and the little bits of stitching add a bit of texture and quirkiness.

  49. Laura, I hope you continue making cards, I love, love, love your style. I also love, love, love your chit chat. Your video content is always excellent and only made better by your friendly and light hearted chat. Don’t stop!

  50. Laura, the card is gorgeous and your videos with voice over are the best. Your stories are great and there is always something that you say that cheers me up and of course watching the ink blending, ink smooshing, your rainbow coloring or whatever, always brings a smile to my face. Keep up the good work! Thanks.

  51. Yes, Laura, we NEED to hear your voice! It’s just not the same without hearing you. 😁 Oh, and the focus went nuts because of all the white on white. If you use a colorful piece of paper to catch the powder, it shouldn’t freak out. It needs the color contrast to focus on. šŸ’œ

  52. Love this heart stamp and love your ink smooshing technique too. And, YES, I“ve missed your voice over in the latest video! PLEASE do both: great cards and cool voice overs.

  53. A stunning card, Laura … you can chat about anything you’d like during your voiceovers … I’ll always watch and listen … you are a joy … as well as being an awesome card maker! Anita šŸ™‚

  54. LOL! I didn’t mind the video with the music b/c I realized it was a really short video…so, it made sense to me! But, I DO enjoy your chatting! You may be more of a listener in real life but you’re hilarious on video!

LOVED the card–may be copying that sketch idea…

  55. I enjoy your videos with the voiceover, was slightly surprised by the musical background in the short video, but didn’t think it was a new trend, so wasn’t worried. Glad to know you will, mostly, continue talking to us. Love your card and the smooshing technique. Looking forward to my kit’s arrival. Thanks for your informative and enjoyable videos.

  56. I agree- even though your cards can stand on their own merit, your commentary is such a fun part of your videos. Looks like another fab card kit this month.

  57. Great video…complete with VoiceOver! Yeah! I really appreciate the clear explanation of ink smooshing…now I think I get it! Thanks!

  58. Love your smooshing. And what’s a Laura video with out Laura?! Honey, you are one of those people who can read a phone book and make it entertaining.

  59. hey you…. ya good to hear your “voice”…( i am totly having fun right here.. i cant be stern if i tried..) …my guess is you are quite a handful at times…like i am…. like what motivated you to try your blog crew out? ; ) smart gal… you :/) … capable of gathering your blog crew bak together! hmmm… 2 bad…. we dont get it!! so here we all are… no kidding šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚ LoL..cant wait to see what suprize you will have next time! thanks for your efforts!.

  60. I say this every time but I think this is my favorite kit yet šŸ™‚ love the card you made…not sure what I like more the – ombre die cut, the gold stitching, or the beautiful ink smooshed colours! Thanks for sharing another great video.

  61. Love your videos, particularly the ink smooshing technique! Tried that out recently, such interesting effect! Also love your quirky funny voice overs, you always seem to enjoy yourself on your videos šŸ˜‰

  62. No I do not believe that you’re really a quiet one off camera ha ha. Love your videos though and seeing you work your creative magic. Love that lightly inked hello die cut – so pretty Laura. Thanks!

  63. Great card, Laura. I like that you stitched the ‘hello’. And I love your voice overs….you always make me smile and sometimes laugh out loud!

  64. The new October card kit is filled with some many great patterned papers and products that the possibilities are endless! Thanks for the inspiration and for the opportunity to win a gift certificate!

  65. I guess I missed the voice-over-less video, but I’m kinda glad. That might have broke my day! Thanks for today’s vid, card and chatter!

  66. Firstly, your videos just wouldn’t be the same with out voice overs. Listening to you is half the fun! Love your card & how you did the background. Very pretty.

  67. Keep on talkin’ Girlfriend! What’s a Doublestick Heaven video without your humor? Double our pleasure Every time please- Show AND Tell! Thanks!

  68. Always love your cards! Yes, keep doing the voice over-you always uplift my spirit with your lighthearted humor and your bubbly personality!! Also, have never, ever been disappointed with Simon Says products. Sure want this kit!

  69. Thanks for sharing another way to use the fabulous heart stamp! Love the smooching but I still don’t think it is as easy as you make it seem. I didn’t see the voiceless video but I have to admit that I listen to video sometimes just for the chatter! Your humor and stories are such fun way to relax in the evening!

  70. Thanks for the card and video. I just started following these card hops and stamping. I like listening to you in this video. You made me laugh. I like the heart and the info on how to achieve the look. Take care.

  71. What a cute, fun card!! So glad to have your chit chat back with your card video!! It was fine without it but you just have such a happy voice that your personality shines through and always leaves me with a smile on my face!! Thanks for taking the time to do them!!

  72. Well, just so you know, I love all your videos. Voice over or not, but I do prefer the voice overs. Such fun. As for the french fries and chocolate, well who doesn’t like that? I do hope you mean together, because when I was younger my sisters made fun of me for going to McDonald’s and getting a hot fudge sundae and some fries, just so I could dip the fries in the hot fudge. ^_^ So awesome. If you are talking about separately.. Oh, yeah.. um.. I totally don’t eat those together.. no way. Love them separately. Thanks for taking the time to do another fun video. Yay!

  73. The people have spoken and we have been heard. YAY! Glad to hear your voice on this video. Yes, I DO want you to make cards, but your chatter is hilarious and I so enjoy it. It’s difficult to believe that you aren’t a big talker IRL… Love your cards – this one is a beauty, as usual!

  74. Gotta have the cards with the voice over dear, don’t you know you are cracking all of us up, making us just want to run out and buy whatever you’re making so we can have just as much fun as you? Love your card smooshing!

  75. Sooooo happy to hear your commentary! I DID miss that in your last video. Whew, life is good again! Thanks for sharing your creative talents.

  76. I love how this card turned out. Thanks for sharing. And please do not stop doing voice-overs. They are just too much fun : )

  77. It’s a perfect card again from you with the ink smooshing and the ink blended hello. We all love to hear you on your videos but sometimes it’s fun to do something different for you-the music was fine by me.

  78. YAYAYAYAY!!!! You are BACK…..with your voice-over, that is. Missed your chit chat last time. Loved the card, but missed your chit chat a lot! This card is awesome. That smooshing looks easier than it is, but you are a pro and your card is wonderful. The color combo is spot on! Thanks so much for sharing….and keep up the singing and the chit chat and all of that!

  79. First, I adore your ramblings but please continue to make cards, French fries and chocolate. Any of those will make me happy. Still waiting for the video on French Fries tho. Wonderful watercolor technique! Must try it! TFS you wonderful talent!

  80. You are the ink smooshing queen. I haven’t gotten to the video where you don’t talk, but I know I would have been shocked and dismayed. While I do enjoy your cards I always watch the videos for whatever you might say! Your card turned out so well. Love it!

  81. I LOVE your cards .. and you do an awesome monologue. I saw that 2 minute video … I kept waiting for you to talk. It just wasn’t the same!!

  82. I SEE YOU and I HEAR YOU too Laura šŸ™‚
Your card is DELIGHTFUL – LOVE the heart and inking, a really BEAUTIFUL design!!!
THANK YOU for sharing your INKY INSPIRATION and your video, it is ALWAYS a PLEASURE to CREATE WITH YOU!!!
PS – it must have been a scary time sewing the layered sentiment, I shudder & shake when I try with just paper on cardstock!!!

  83. I can always count on you Laura, to give me a smile and a laugh – so necessary for daily health! This is a great card – I love your smooshing technique. Everyone seems to be doing watercolors these days so I’m guessing I will jump on the bandwagon with your great inspiration pieces.

  84. Missed the ‘music’ video but I’ll add my two cents…tell us your stories, and yes, while making a card! šŸ˜€ I have got to try your smooshing technique, it is something that doesn’t mind my lack of talent.

  85. When I started this bloghop I hoped there would be a video from you and yes love it. Your card is again awesome love the colors love the design and that cardkit is a must have. TFS.

  86. Love the card, Laura. And more than that love your voice and whatever you say so please never ever sweetch to music. Thanks for the chance to win.

  87. LOVE your card, as always! And I agree with everybody!!! We need the voiceovers!!! It makes my day everytime! So funny!

  88. Such a beautiful card and you always make it fun to learn from you with all your funny chatter! No more music! Your words are perfect “music”. Ha. Great kit for October with the ink, & die included with the amazing stamp set and colorful patterned papers!!

  89. Wish we were neighbours so we could craft together Laura! I love listening to you. Or just watching you work. Your musical names and colours make me laugh. You’re one in a million. Never change! Love your smooshing!

  90. Beautiful card, Laura – I believe you always make fantastic cards. I agree with other viewers – keep on recording your voice overs as I also enjoy your stories. Thank you!

  91. Such a beautiful card, Laura!! I love watching your videos and listening to your chitter-chatter! Thank you for the inspiration!

  92. Your ink-smooshed card sample of the October 2015 SSS Card Kit has really inspired me to get the card kit. What I like is this kit will broaden my “box” by using colors and color combos I don’t normally–don’t ever use, plus I love the bits of shiny gold on the papers. I’m looking forward to trying out the gold ink.

  93. We love both your cards and your funny one-sided conversations. (We being my two youngest and I.) Though sometimes I play your videos so that my husband can listen to you because they cracked me up. Nice card…btw. (But I still appreciated the video without the voice over.)

  94. Laura, your voice overs are so funny! Thanks for the wonderful inspiration and for making me laugh! Your cards are beautiful!

  95. “I See You” card is fantastic. Love how you partially colored the hello. You are hoot and I just love your videos šŸ˜‰

  96. I enjoyed your video as much as your card – especially the joke about telling stories instead of creating cards… so cute… I’m loving the use of watercolor and look forward to playing with my abundance of watercolor items that I purchased before I realized that I am not a painter! =)

  97. Ink smooshing is a brand new technique to me. I can’t wait to try this & see how my cards turn out. High five to your great creativity!

  98. Your videos are always so much fun! I love it when you are just being you and telling us a little about how you made a card!

  99. You are too funny! Love the watercolor smooshing and that heart stamp, the sentiments…the more I see on this hop, the more I am interested in the card kit! Thanks for sharing.

  103. You’ve done it again, Laura! Another highly funny, entertaining video, and another beautiful card. You’re my hero, lol. But really, you rock!

  104. Did I already mention how much I love this? Red, oranges, and yellows have been the hardest colors for me to work with (I guess I don’t have a good eye for it) and this is very helpful, especially since the card kit focuses on those colors. Thanks!

  105. I love listening to you because you are so funny! I took your class on Craftsy, saw your technique their and really enjoyed the entire class. You make everything so much fun! You are one of my favoritesšŸ‘

  106. Laura, I thought maybe you had a cold ?? But I to love hearing you talk and do your cards .. Your so much fun … I look so forward to getting your e-mails, you have no idea !!!yours in Christ and ink …..Anne
