Mama Elephant-Window Watching

Hi there! Just popping in to share a cute little card that is up on the Mama Elephant blog today featuring the new Window Watching creative cuts as well as the Festive Mice stamp set.Mama Elephant-Window WatchingI created my front panel using the Index Card creative cut. I stamped the little girl from In My Heart and the Christmas lights & tree from Festive Mice. Then I masked off the images and blended in Buttercup pigment ink. After removing the masks I colored the images with Copics. I popped up the window frame and awning over the images with foam tape and embossed a sentiment from In My Heart in white.Mama Elephant-Window WatchingHow sweet is that little girl just daydreaming out the window, missing her loved ones during the holidays. Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Oh my, so sweet. The contrast of the window to the surrounding “outside” of the house really draws the eye to the perfectly colored interior.

  2. This is so cute (even tho’ it is sad for me and hits too close to home.) I’m gonna pretend she’s just waiting for Santa. You came up with another wonderful idea & great combination of products.

  3. soooo cute! Laura, I know it’s busy time of year for you with the kids in school and all of their activities, but I miss hearing your fun attitude on your videos. 🙂

  4. Such a darling design! I was just over at their website admiring this cute window diecut. That little girl is so cute wistfully peeking out. 🙂

  5. The miss you cards always get me right in the heart, since my husband works so far away, and I only see him once a month. This is just so precious.

  6. Such a cute card. I think she is day dreaming about sugar plums. Ha. Great coloring and design. Thanks for sharing.
