Share Handmade Kindness Challenge Week 1

SHK-badge-featuredHi there! Today I’m sharing a card that I made for the Share Handmade Kindness challenge that my talented, kind & tremendously generous friend Jennifer McGuire is hosting over on her blog. I was completely blown away when I received this amazing package from Jennifer. Her thoughtfulness and creativity is inspiring. I am excited to play along this week and send out some happy mail to my family & friends.Sharing Handmade Kindness 2015I couldn’t wait to play with this fun new Acts of Kindness stamp set by Hero Arts. I think it’s just awesome that Hero Arts is donating donating 25% of the profits from these stamps to the Kind Campaign to support their efforts in ending bullying.Hero Arts-Acts of KindnessI embossed the envelope images in clear and painted over them using distress inks.Hero Arts-Acts of KindnessHere’s a video to show you how I created my card.

  11. AWWWWW – I new you had to be part of a wonderful family since you’re so much fun to watch but loved hearing from your kids – Dad must have had to leave to deliver his card immediately, right?

  12. The card looks just like you colorful and beautiful. I know by that extraordinarily good-looking family and the fact that they’re all so sweet, that you and your man have done a wonderful job raising them. Can’t believe how tall your oldest boy is getting. Wonder why the Mister didn’t get in the video…was it his shy day?

  13. Awww, what a GREAT family you have, Laura, this video really warmed my heart! Your card is fabulous (you just keep doing the same thing over and over if you want to because you’ve figured out the “secret” formula to making fabulous card lol!) I also had to chuckle about you buying the mini cubes because I’m in the same boat right now, I have most of the full size pads but I really really want those minis 😉

  17. Cutest darn card! Love it. I’m guilty of not sending out my cards too. I was on 3 design teams for a few years, so was making cards all the time and not sending them out. Now I have a few boxes full of them and have finally started using them. Might just give some of them to people for the Share Handmade Kindness Challenge. What a great family you have, wonderful that they have all gotten involved. Thanks for another great video!

  18. I didn’t think anyone could outdo you in your craft videos, but your sweet kids win this round! And the card is fabulous too. I gave in on the distress minis a while back, and now I want to get painting.

  19. Great video and card. Love the family participation……. great job kids…it is such a great program ……… thank you
