Lasting Hearts Card Drive

LastingHeartsLogo_v1
Hello there! Today I have a few cards to share that I made for the Lasting Hearts Card Drive. This is a wonderful opportunity to put your talents to a much greater good and to extend love to those that are heartbroken over the loss of losing a precious child. You can read more about it over on Jennifer McGuire’s blog.Lasting Hearts Card DriveMy first card uses the Bouquet of Flowers stencil by Simon Says Stamp. I used my mini ink blenders and some post-it tape for masking to blend in Rosie Cheeks, Lemon Chiffon, Maliblue, Melon, Catkin and High Dive ink.
SSS-Bouquet of Flowers stencilThe sentiment is from the Prayers stamp set by Hero Arts. Simon Says Stamp is generously donating 25% of the profits from this stamp set to the “Lasting Hearts” Fundraiser and Card Drive.
SSS-Bouquet of Flowers stencilMy next card features the Leaves Stencil. This is really cool because you get both the stencil and the mask with this and that is what I used to get the positive and the negative images of the leaves by blending in Maliblue on one and Catkin on the other.
SSS-Leaves StencilThe sentiment is a mixture of the Big U Words and More Tag Words stamp sets. I added a couple of smooth gemstones by Hero Arts to the sides of the “you” and mounted the panel onto a Smoke card base.
SSS-Leaves StencilThanks so much for stopping by!

  5. Thanks for FORCING me to buy the Bouquet stencil with your gorgeous card! 🙂 I kind of CASE’d your design by combining it with one of Debby Hughes’ cards. Thanks for the always awesome inspiration!
