SSS-Seed Bead Shaker

Hi there! Just popping in to share a fun shaker card using some Simon Says Stamp goodies. This is like an epic shaker. It’s a great way to showcase all the different colors, whether you’re using sequins or seed beads.SSS-Painted Enjoy & Ring Frame dieThis Ring Frame die has 12 little circles that are perfect for creating 12 little shaker windows. Using a sheet of double-sided foam makes this surprisingly simple. Not sure if you can tell, but the panel is actually Cream Off White cardstock(my fave) with the ring die cut being Neenah Solar White. I love the subtle contrast against the colorful seed beads.
SSS-Painted Enjoy & Ring Frame dieI blended some Sea Glass & Blue Jay ink onto the Painted Enjoy word die cut and white embossed a sentiment from Happy and Smile. Mama Elephant-Heartfelt Wishes

Hello there! Today I’m sharing another Mama Elephant highlight project using the new Heartfelt Wishes stamp set with coordinating dies.Mama Elephant-Heartfelt WishesTo create my striped background I masked off strips using post-it tape and blended in several Mama Elephant pigment inks. Using my grid pad really helped me to get consistent and parallel spacing to my stripes. I LOVE that this set offers a thank you sentiment in German. I layered four of those die cuts together to give it some thickness and stamped a coordinating sentiment underneath.

Mama Elephant-Birthday Wishes

Hi there! I have another project for Mama Elephant featuring the new Birthday Wishes stamp set.Mama Elephant-Birthday WishesI knew I wanted to stamp some colorful candles, but I needed something to give it a little added interest, so I trimmed the panel on an angle popping up only the top part with foam tape. I stamped the angle to run parallel with the angle.

Hi there! I’m back again with Mama Elephant highlighting the new Meowlloween Extras stamp set with coordinating dies.Mama Elephant-Meowlloween ExtrasI made a window using on of the circle dies from Sew Fancy and popped three of the adorable mice in there from Meowlloween Extras. Mama Elephant-Meowlloween

Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the new Meowlloween stamp set with coordinating dies.Mama Elephant-MeowlloweenI used one of the circle dies from Sew Fancy and did a little partial die cutting to create the window keeping the halloween kitty intact. That is a kitty, right? I’ve been known to get these things wrong:) Anyways, I added some Sunshine & Orangeade ink blending in the background and the sentiment and speech bubble are from the Meowlloween Extras set.

My card features the new Heartfelt Wishes stamp set along with the coordinating dies.
Mama Elephant-Heartfelt WishesTo create my background I stamped and embossed in clear the triangles from the Today Was stamp set. Then I colored the triangles with my Zig Clear Color markers. I layered up the die cut sentiment and embossed the coordinating sentiment in white. To finish it off, I added some loose metallic thread and glossy accents.

SSS-September Card Kit

September-2015-Card-Kit-600-revisedHello there! Just popping in to share a couple of projects using the new September Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp.
SSS-Birthday BitsI love the Birthday Bits stamp set that is included in the kit. Anything with balloons is a win/win in my book! I used post-it notes to mask off my balloons and cluster them together at the top of the card. After coloring the balloons with Copics, I stamped the balloon tales with Fog ink and the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black.
SSS-Birthday BitsI don’t usually rave much about pattern papers, but I seriously love the papers included in this month’s kit. They are by Pink Fresh Studio and the colors and whimsical designs are fabulous.
SSS-September Card KitI used one of the pattern papers here and stamped three balloons using the Birthday Bits stamp set. This set also includes a solid balloon image. I used it and a bit of rock n’ roll inking to get the shading on the balloons. Using my stamp press, I stamped the sentiment on the balloons and pattern paper and lined them all up to fit together.
SSS-September Card KitHoping to make a few more projects with the card kit. There’s the cutest little stencil included and some Gesso that I’ve never tried before. That’s all for today. Thanks so much for stopping by!
