Mama Elephant-Meowlloween

Hi there! I’m back with Mama Elephant highlighting the new Meowlloween stamp set with coordinating dies.Mama Elephant-MeowlloweenI used one of the circle dies from Sew Fancy and did a little partial die cutting to create the window keeping the halloween kitty intact. That is a kitty, right? I’ve been known to get these things wrong:) Anyways, I added some Sunshine & Orangeade ink blending in the background and the sentiment and speech bubble are from the Meowlloween Extras set.

Mama Elephant-August Stampede

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop!
Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store!

My card features the new Heartfelt Wishes stamp set along with the coordinating dies.
Mama Elephant-Heartfelt WishesTo create my background I stamped and embossed in clear the triangles from the Today Was stamp set. Then I colored the triangles with my Zig Clear Color markers. I layered up the die cut sentiment and embossed the coordinating sentiment in white. To finish it off, I added some loose metallic thread and glossy accents.

SSS-September Card Kit

September-2015-Card-Kit-600-revisedHello there! Just popping in to share a couple of projects using the new September Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp.
SSS-Birthday BitsI love the Birthday Bits stamp set that is included in the kit. Anything with balloons is a win/win in my book! I used post-it notes to mask off my balloons and cluster them together at the top of the card. After coloring the balloons with Copics, I stamped the balloon tales with Fog ink and the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black.
SSS-Birthday BitsI don’t usually rave much about pattern papers, but I seriously love the papers included in this month’s kit. They are by Pink Fresh Studio and the colors and whimsical designs are fabulous.
SSS-September Card KitI used one of the pattern papers here and stamped three balloons using the Birthday Bits stamp set. This set also includes a solid balloon image. I used it and a bit of rock n’ roll inking to get the shading on the balloons. Using my stamp press, I stamped the sentiment on the balloons and pattern paper and lined them all up to fit together.
SSS-September Card KitHoping to make a few more projects with the card kit. There’s the cutest little stencil included and some Gesso that I’ve never tried before. That’s all for today. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Neat & Tangled 3rd Birthday Blog Hop

3rdbirthdaybloghop-01Hello there! I’m so excited to be joining Neat & Tangled for a blog hop celebrating their 3rd birthday! The beautiful & talented Danielle sent me a few goodies to play with and I’ve created a couple of cards to share with you.
Neat & Tangled-Heart of GoldThis first card features the gorgeous new Heart of Gold stamp set with coordinating die. I blended some Hot Mama, Teeny Bikini & Apricot ink behind the white heart die cut which was popped up with foam tape. Yes, I cut little slivers of foam tape to fit behind each little piece of that heart & used Press’n Seal to keep all the pieces aligned.
Neat & Tangled-Heart of GoldMy nest card showcases the new Seeing Stars die as well as the Happiest Birthday stamp set.
Neat & Tangled-Happiest BirthdayI blended in some Hot Mama(you know how I love me some Hot Mama), Blue Jay & Jellybean ink before die cutting the stars and then colored in the monkey with Copics. I put a party hat on the monkey & a sparkler in his hand. That is a monkey right? I guess it could be a bear with big ears, too, but I’m going with monkey. I’m just in monkey heaven with all these amazing monkey stamp sets that are coming out from several different companies. I love them all, and am a firm believer that you can never have too many monkeys. Now I’m having second thoughts. It’s a bear, isn’t it?
Neat & Tangled-Happiest BirthdayLeave me a comment for your chance to win a $50 or even a $100 gift certificate to Neat & Tangled…hot diggity dog!!
Your next stop on the hop is my all-time, forever and ever, never to be outdone favorite card maker in the history of ever…..Cristina Kowalczyk!!!
Thank you so much for hopping by & happiest of birthday wishes to you, Neat & Tangled!

Mama Elephant-Tandem Extras

Hi there! Just popping in to share a card I have up over on the Mama Elephant blog featuring the new Tandem Extras stamp set.Mama Elephant-Tandem Extras
I die cut a window using the speech bubble die from Index Card. Then I used that speech bubble die cut as a guide to draw the hill to stamp the little mouse from Tandem Ride & flowers from Tandem Extras.Mama Elephant-Tandem Extras
I added some ink blending to the hill using Lemongrass and to the speech bubble window using Fresh Mint. Then I colored the images with Copics, popped the panel up with foam tape & stamped the sentiment from Tandem Extras.
