Dreamweavers Embossing Paste

Hello there! The other day I had the chance to play with several different kinds of Dreamweavers Embossing Paste, and I wanted to share with you my comparisons and samples. Up until now I’ve only tried white and clear embossing paste. I’ve always wanted to branch out but never took the time. Well, some of these “new to me” colors are really gorgeous, and I knew you’d love to see them, too.Dreamweavers Embossing PasteAs you can see, I couldn’t stop. I used several different Simon Says Stamp stencils and went to town. The metallics are divine. The Matte Black & Crackle pastes are so unique and unexpected, but the Pearlescent stole my heart.
SSS-Road TripI really love how the Glossy Black paste looks on black cardstock. I created this card using the Road Trip stamp set & coordinating dies.
SSS-Road TripThis next card shows how gorgeous the Pearlescent paste looks on the Simon Says Stamp Ivory cardstock using the Extra Large Dots stencil.
Pearlescent Embossing PasteThis Ivory cardstock is my new favorite. It’s the perfect subtle neutral. I added some loosey goosey silver thread, a vellum die cut using the Clustered Leaves, the Small Hello word die cut as well as some Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

That’s all for today. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Easter

Hi there! Just popping in to wish you a wonderful Easter!SSS-Happy EasterI made a very quick, clean & simple card before we head out to church and then off to Grandma’s house for dinner. If only my morning could have been this quick, clean & simple, eh? Ha!
SSS-Happy EasterIt was a miracle, and we’ll most likely be late for church, but here’s a quick pic of my sweet, well sometimes sweet, Easter peeps!

Paper Smooches projects

Hello there! Today I’m just sharing a few of my Paper Smooches projects using several of the new products that were released in March.Paper Smooches-Fancy Frames Icons dieThis first card uses the Fancy Frames stamp set and coordinating Fancy Frames Icons dies. I stamped the monsters from Little Fella and colored them with Copics.
Paper Smooches-Fancy Frames Icons dieThis next card features the Ahoy Me Hearty stamp set and Ahoy Icons coordinating dies.
Paper Smooches-Ahoy Icons diesI did some partial die cutting to keep the parrot intact using the Ovals 1 dies and blending some some Sea Glass ink in the background.
Paper Smooches-Ahoy Icons diesMy last project showcases the Butterfly Duets dies, which are attached to the straws using the Adornments dies.
Paper Smooches-Adornments & Butterfly Duets diesI die cut the Butterflies onto Watercolor cardstock and then painted them with my Zig Kuretake paints. The sentiment is from the Birthday Sampler set.

SSS-April Card Kit

aprilkitfull15Hi there! Today I’m sharing a couple of project created using the Simon Says Stamp April Card Kit.SSS-April Card KitI’m loving this month’s kit with the neon rub-ons, gold & kraft pattern papers and awesomely graphic & bold stamp set. For this card I simply stamped a row of neon candles and cropped it in the middle for the sentiment.
SSS-April Card KitThis next card uses the balloon image in the stamp set along with more neon inks. As far as I’m concerned, neon will never ever go out of style.
SSS-April Card KitI added a thin strip of the gold striped pattern paper to the bottom. I never knew how much I’d love gold, kraft & neon together.

Paper Smooches-Frame 2My project features the new Frame 2 die.
Paper Smooches-Frame 2I stamped the background using Botanicals 2. Then I die cut the sentiment onto double sided adhesive foam and covered it with Antique Silver glitter. The leave die cuts and splatters were painted using my Zig Kuretake watercolors.
Paper Smooches-Frame 2This next little mini card uses the Frame 2 die as well as the We Adore You stamp set. After stamping the owls, I masked them with a post-it and blended in Maliblue ink for the subtle background.
Paper Smooches-Frame 2Thanks so much for hopping by!
