Honey Bee-Beautiful Life

Hi there! Today I’m excited to  join Honey Bee Stamps for their 12 Days of Christmas Event. I am featuring the Beautiful Life stamp set along with the coordinating dies.Honey Bee Stamps-Beautiful LifeI embossed several of the heart images in clear onto watercolor cardstock and then blended distress inks in Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade & Squeezed Lemonade. I also flicked some water droplets after the ink blending.
Honey Bee Stamps-Beautiful LifeI stamped the sentiment from Beautiful Life and used the coordinating die to die cut it out and popped it up over a loose bed of thread with foam tape. I die cut a circle window into a piece of vellum and stitched it onto the panel to create a soft frame for my sentiment.

My Monthly Hero December 2016 KitThis next card showcases that gorgeous sunburst die included in the main kit.

SSS-Merry & Bright

Hello! Today I have a festive project to share using the fun Merry & Bright stamp set by Simon Says Stamp.SSS-Merry & BrightI created a shaker card using one of the Nested Circle dies and Doodlebug pattern paper.
SSS-Merry & BrightThese sweet images are so adorable. I colored them with Copics and added glossy accents to Rudulph’s nose and Enamel Accents to the tree. Then I filled the shaker with lots of Pretty Pink Posh sequins.
SSS-Merry & BrightI also used one of the adorable papers from the Doodlebug pack to put in my simple white frame(from Ikea). The little mini pom pom garland was just a quick little addition. I threaded some mini pom poms on a strand of thread. I took like 2 minutes and I LOVE it! I bought the mini pom poms at my local craft store. They are just so fun when they are in rainbow order!SSS-Merry & BrightThat’s all for today! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Altenew-Baby Zoo

Hello again! Today I have a project featuring the adorable Baby Zoo stamp & dies from Altenew. These baby animals just make me smile and so I added a sentiment from the Halftone Smile set along with the coordinating die.Altenew-Baby ZooI decided to walk on the wild side and ink up my animals in unexpected colors. I used three  inks on each animal to give it that gradient look. The Altenew inks work beautifully for this technique along with the MISTI that help a ton, too.
Altenew-Baby ZooHere’s a video to show you how I made this card.

Leave me a comment for your chance to win a $30 gift certificate to Altenew…woot!

SSS & Lawn Fawn-Christmouse blog hop

blog-hop_from-the-vault_lawn-fawn_638-01Hi there! Today I’m excited to be joining Simon Says Stamp & Lawn Fawn for a special blog hop featuring the Lawn Fawn From the Vault:  Merry Christmouse stamps and dies.  These were VERY POPULAR when they were first released during STAMPtember 2015 and sold out so quick. I’m so happy that Simon Says Stamp has brought them back for a limited time.
SSS/Lawn Fawn-Merry ChristmouseI just adore Lawn Fawn images and was so giddy to play with these cutie patootie mice. I created a row of hanging stockings filled with mice. I used my big foam tape roll as a guide to trace my swooping stocking string with a Multiliner pen and colored the images with Copics.
SSS/Lawn Fawn-Merry ChristmouseI blended some Salty Ocean & Cracked Pistachio onto watercolor cardstock for the background.
SSS/Lawn Fawn-Merry ChristmouseThis next card combined the Merry Christmouse set with the Ready, Set, Snow sets to make a fun shaker.
SSS/Lawn Fawn-Merry ChristmouseI used some of that delicious Perfectly Plaid paper for the background along with some Licorice twine on the side and filled the shaker with Caribbean Dream sequin mix.
