Hello there! Today I’m sharing one last project for 2016 featuring the adorable Penguin dies by Simon Says Stamp. I was inspired by this fabulous card by Yana.SSS-PenguinsI dressed up the cute penguins for a New Year’s party using the Cuddly Critter Accessories. Then I used Big Numbers and Happy Christmas for the sentiment.

SSS-Hey Love & Heart FoldI used some delicious pattern papers from the C’est La Vie 6×6 pack. I’m in love with these fresh, modern patterns. I actually just made a birthday card for my daughter with these papers and she LOVED it! Here’s the card I made for her.Alex's 16thShe said and I quote, “Mom, I think you’ve gotten better over the years.” lolololol….Hey, I’ll take it, folks! I used my Silhouette Cameo to make the “16” & the “alex”…so easy, but the papers make it look so good.
SSS-Hey Love & Heart FoldBut I’m in love with all of the gorgeous handwritten word dies designed by Kristina Werner. She has such a amazing gift!

SSS-Bear Hugs & Circle LeavesMy first project features the adorable Bear Hugs die. I die cut several pieces of felt and created a bear felt banner. In rainbow order, of course:) I adhered the bears with glossy accents.
SSS-Bear Hugs & Handlettered GreetingsI added a sentiment using one of the Handlettered Greetings dies with Fog cardstock. I used spray adhesive to adhere it to the card.
SSS-Bear Hugs & Handlettered GreetingsI had a bunch of colorful little felt hearts left over from die cutting the Bear Hugs and used them on this next card.
SSS-Circle Leaves & Missing YouThis card features the gorgeous Circle Leaves die with Cream Off cardstock. I added a sentiment using one of the new Missing You dies with Sea Glass yardstick. Two cards made solely with dies!!! So fun! These new Diecember® dies are fantastic!

SSS & Lawn Fawn-Christmouse blog hop

Today I’m excited to be joining Simon Says Stamp & Lawn Fawn for a special blog hop featuring the Lawn Fawn From the Vault:  Merry Christmouse stamps and dies.  These were VERY POPULAR when they were first released during STAMPtember 2015 and sold out so quick. I’m so happy that Simon Says Stamp has brought them back for a limited time.
SSS/Lawn Fawn-Merry ChristmouseI just adore Lawn Fawn images and was so giddy to play with these cutie patootie mice. I created a row of hanging stockings filled with mice. I used my big foam tape roll as a guide to trace my swooping stocking string with a Multiliner pen and colored the images with Copics.
SSS/Lawn Fawn-Merry ChristmouseI blended some Salty Ocean & Cracked Pistachio onto watercolor cardstock for the background.
SSS/Lawn Fawn-Merry ChristmouseThis next card combined the Merry Christmouse set with the Ready, Set, Snow sets to make a fun shaker.
SSS/Lawn Fawn-Merry ChristmouseI used some of that delicious Perfectly Plaid paper for the background along with some Licorice twine on the side and filled the shaker with Caribbean Dream sequin mix.

SSS-Holiday Release Week Blog Hop

SSS-Christmas Town & Holiday Card KitMy first card features the fabulous new Christmas Town stamp set, which was part of the Advent release.
SSS-Christmas TownI just love architectural images, especially for the holidays! I used the Slopes & Hills dies to make a hilly little village scene. I blended some Maliblue ink on the hills and colored the images with Copics.
SSS-Christmas TownI used a couple of goodies from the Holiday Card kit to make this next card.
Limited Edition Simon Says Stamp Holiday Card Kit CHRISTMAS 2016This adorable little Retro Deer die is perfect! I cropped him off to the side of a small little ink blended panel. I stitched the small panels onto the card for something different and then added that gorgeous “joy” sticker by My Mind’s Eye that is also included in the kit.

Caring Hearts blog hop

Today we are celebrating the 7th annual Caring Hearts Card Drive with a fun blog hop! The purpose of this card drive is to collect handmade holiday cards for the elderly that live in nursing homes around the world. Since 2010 we have been bringing joy to many nursing homes throughout the US, Canada and Australia. And this year, we are branching out to the UK!
