Hi there! Today I have another Kelly Purkey card to share using some more of her new STAMPtember® products. I used the new The Adventure Begins die and red chevron washi tape.
I die cut The Adventure Begins die and colored it with Copics while it was intact.
After die cutting the sentiment again, I adhered the colored letters into the negative space.
I was thinking that this could be a really fun wedding card or even a card for a kid going off to college, don’t you think? I’m really loving Kelly’s new designs!
Also a few winners to announce for the Insider card class……Congratulations Janet, Elilzabeth and Donna! I will be contacting you!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Wonderful card Laura – clean and uncluttered . I would have said simple but it must not have been easy to glue those cut out pieces back into the negative space … thank you for sharing.
Gorgeous! But perhaps more a kid going to college than a wedding card …
Well, you can call this a Kelly Purkey card if you WANT, but it will ALWAYS be a Laura Bassen card to me! You clever, clever, girl!!
This card really “perks” me up!! LOVE your creative ideas and superb execution!

Good golly girl, you’re brilliant…the way you colored it, the way you double die cut the die…this whole idea is genius. Of course it would make a perfect card for anyone embarking on a life changing event.
Love love love! And that must have been a ton of fun, sticking the colorful alpha back into the negative space! Such patience but it was so worth it. 🙂
Just love this! I think it’s a great new beginning card…hmmmm…in pinks/blues, might even work well for a new baby. lol.
