If you are interested, better get one while you can!SSS_cardkit_august_final_600So here’s the fun part where I get to show you what I made with the kit. The first thing I saw when I opened my box was this AWESOME Moraccan stencil. I could not wait to try it out.

Simon Says Stamp~August Card KitI was inspired by this masterpiece by Lisa Spangler. I absolutely adore how Lisa sponged her bright triangles, and I wanted to try this idea with the Moroccan tile design.
Simon Says Stamp~August Card KitI used several neon inks by Hero Arts and the sentiment is from the card kit stamp set designed by the one and only Kristina Werner.
Simon Says Stamp~August Card KitNext, I wanted to dive into some of  the gorgeous pattern papers in the card kit.
Simon Says Stamp~August Card KitI used the Small Envelope Craft die to create this little envelope. I love that it allows for showing both sides of the pattern paper. Check out that flair included in the kit. Ummm…hello, gorgeous:)
Simon Says Stamp~August Card KitAnd of course a little card to tuck inside the envelope. I used more sentiments from the stamp set included in the card kit. Can I just take a moment to tell you about this sheet of Bazzill Candy Necklace cardstock included in the kit? Well, I was shocked at it’s thickness. It’s incredibly sturdy and divine. Listen, I know a good cardstock when I see one. This is a good one. Just needed to get that off my chest:)
Simon Says Stamp~August Card KitHere’s the inside of the card. Isn’t that sentiment cute? I adore my card-exchanging friends♥
Simon Says Stamp~August Card KitAnd just in case you were wondering who those dirty finger nails belonged to…my little helper Charlie. He’s always there when I need him…snaggle teeth n’ all:)
