Mama Elephant~Make a WishI used the new Make a Wish stamp set on my project. My card base is made from watercolor paper. After making some loose watercolor brushstrokes, I simply stamped the sentiment in black. I am head over heels in love with these hand lettered sentiments. Did you read about the artist, Paulina, who designed them for Mama Elephant? She is amazing!

  4. What a great Happy Birthday stamp, Laura and what a generous give-away! I was just making a B-Day card last night and am just not happy with any of my birthday stamps! This is a good one! Gonna have to put it on my wish list 🙂 Thanks for sharing and thanks for the chance to enter the give-away! XOXO-Shari

  5. I LOVE this new set. The lettering is just beautiful! And Paulina lives in Singapore, like me! I wonder if I can meet (stalk) her sometime… so cool! Thanks for the chance to win!

  7. Ya know, it just doesn’t get any more perfect than that. Of course, a great sentiment like that makes cards look good, but your rainbow makes it perfect.

  8. Oh, how I love this look! The watercolor is perfect and the bold black fabulous handwritten stamped sentiment is a perfect match!

  9. Fantabulous!! I also totally LOVED the cards and wonderful ideas you shared in this week’s Card Class as one of the Guest Designers…your videos are also so interesting and you are so much fun and are always so full of life and happy things….thanks girl!!!

  10. Your watercoloring is the perfect background for this sentiment, Laura! I love the soft colors with this gorgeous font and the texture of the paper is fabulous, too!

  12. Laura, love this usage of the stamp. I want to thank you for making me aware of Paulina and her blog. I went to have a look and she had a link to an online store for calligraphers. I have recently been learning calligraphy and I was looking for a particular book which I could not find anywhere at a reasonable price (including postage) and there it was!!! So your happy card has made me happy in many ways! Thanks! 🙂

  13. Great minds think alike – this card is similar to Donna’s but they are both unique. I love the watercolour behind the sentiment. Looks fab!

  14. Hi Laura!

  21. I love your cards. I just have a quick question. I tried using the same watercolor set you have, but I get a chalky feel and the color rubs off on my fingers, do you find this as well?
