Hello there! Today I’m sharing a couple more projects made with the March card kit by Simon Says Stamp.
I used the alpha stickers in the card kit to create the sentiment. I adhered it to some Lawn Fawn pattern paper that also comes in the kit. I’m going to save this card for my daughter. Turning thirteen hasn’t been the easiest thing she’s ever done. My husband is starting to confuse us for each other…that’s weird. He says when he glances quickly from far away, we can easily be mistaken. Hopefully this isn’t too devastating for her, lol! I certainly don’t mind getting mistaken for a thirteen year old, for heaven’s sake. I feel more like eighty half the time.
Next, I played around with the cool stencil that comes in the card kit.
I used two of the brand new ink colors by Simon Says Stamp…Mint and Audrey Blue. I used a 2 1/2″ circle punch on some post-it notes to mask the arches as I worked my way up the card.
The sentiment is from the stamp set that comes in the card kit. I mounted it on a piece of vellum and added a bit of loose silver thread underneath. The Mint and Audrey Blue inks are a match made in inky heaven, don’t you think?

I am wowed all. over. again! First, I love that happy sentiment! It’s fitting for a 13-year and 80-year old! I would totally mistake you for 13 year old! ( I do feel like 90 year old sometimes though.) I adore that cool background that you created with that little stencil ( I just got mine from SSS)! It’s impossible to top yours (LOL)!

I was so excited to get my SSS kit to try the crayon card you made last week and then you came up with a way to use the letters AND the stencil! Brilliant!
