Hi there! Just popping in to share a card I have up over on the Mama Elephant blog featuring the new Tandem Extras stamp set.
I die cut a window using the speech bubble die from Index Card. Then I used that speech bubble die cut as a guide to draw the hill to stamp the little mouse from Tandem Ride & flowers from Tandem Extras.
I added some ink blending to the hill using Lemongrass and to the speech bubble window using Fresh Mint. Then I colored the images with Copics, popped the panel up with foam tape & stamped the sentiment from Tandem Extras.
How cute is that little mouse sitting there between those tulips? He just make me smile. That’s all for today. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Oh, my, Oh, my!!! This is SUCH A SWEET card. The sentiment in the bubble is spot on and the cutie patootie mouse between the two blooms is just right. As always, your color blending is so subtle and effective at the same time. Perfection!!!!

Laura, I’m dying….I love your darling family and have never been able to figure out how you managed to be such a good mom and do all your crafty endeavors, but I’m so sad you’re leaving the PTI DT. Your projects are always my favorites! I’m hoping you won’t completely disappear from here. I just don’t think I’ll enjoy this hobby nearly as much without you.

So sad you are leaving PTI. I’m not a fan of some of the other companies as they have too many cartoon animals that seem juvenile to me. Maybe they compensate you better? I’ll definitely miss your interesting style using the PTI stuff. Still like your use of SSS products, so I guess that will have to do 😦
