Hero Arts Summer 2016 Release Blog Hop

Hi there! Today I’m very excited to be joining Hero Arts to kick off their new summer release with a blog hop.Hero Arts 2016 Summer ReleaseI combined several new products on my card. I used the Waves Stencil for the background, the Color Layering Flamingo with coordinating Frame Cut as well as the Paper Layering Palm Tree. For the sentiment I combined Celebrate Tag Stamp & Cut and the Hello Stamp & Cut.Hero Arts 2016 Summer ReleaseI love that gorgeous flamingo! The multi-step stamping really brings it to life. I was able to mask off parts of the palm tree to blend in lighter & darker shades of ink to give it some life. I used my craft knife to freehand cut a hill and created a little sandy beach for the flamingo to stand on.
