  35. Beautiful card. I love everything about the card….however, now I need to purchase a few items. I was trying so hard to avoid purchasing anymore Christmas dies….that ornament, and how you have presented it just “blows me away”. Definitely on my list now! Do I say thank you?

  36. Gorgeous! Thank you for sharing the video!! I’m picky about my water splats, too. Although, I am a newbie at them.

  41. Once again you have made an amazing card! Love how you used the ornament die! Thanks for sharing your creativity!

  42. PLEASE tell me there are no more blog-hops coming up! I did this one in reverse order. (made it seem less time-consuming, somehow! ) I knew I saved the best for last. That die is just amazing, as is KW’s wonderful script. I am so glad they are doing the word shadow outline dies. It’s honestly a wonderful way to highlight a sentiment. Of course, I could glue it then fussy cut, but I flunked scissors in kindergarten and am not much better now! Thank you for stretching my skills, as well at informing me and entertaining me! And all boys are easily tittilated by words that seem “naughty!”

  43. Laura, You absolutely nailed it!!! Love all your cards and videos, I will never get tired of your creativity ever…

  49. Very pretty, I like the black outline the white Believe die cut. Laura, you always make me laugh, I enjoy everything you do.

  50. This card is really an attention grabber! Very elegant, and I love the way the glitter ornament is offset from the glittery side border cut-out of its form. So creative!

  51. Oh my gosh. This card is gorgeous! Watched the video. And of course, as usual, I was thoroughly entertained. lol. I love that you’ve used beautiful colors in the background. 52. Beautiful card Laura! Loved your video as well. I laughed pretty hard when you said you were like a “10 year old boy”. Too funny! Thanks for the chance to win. 🙂 P.S. I don’t know if you read all the replies or not, but how is your son doing at school in Calgary? Hope you’re doing well now. Our momma hearts just have too much to care about..

  64. Not a color combo I would think about on a Christmas card. A standout. Thanks for the tips about watercolor paper.

  65. Exquisite! That ornament die is amazing and the believe, well it’s just gorgeous. Great job with this card. And I have to tell you, a couple weeks ago at a crop we had quite a discussion about tittles, they laughed because I knew that, told them I learned it from you. Then I told them another word everyone should know, nurdle. A nurdle is that little blob of toothpaste you put on your toothbursh. Really it is! There are a couple other definitions, but this one is my favorite. Just thought I’d keep you informed.
Thanks for sharing this card and video with us.

  66. Wow this is gorgeous – the way you have created this card has made me rethink the colours that I would normally use for Christmas. Thank you so much for the chance to win

  67. Gorgeous card!! I’ve been trying to figure out how that die works. Also, you are very entertaining!! I love your videos!

  68. Oh my gosh. I thought you were saying tiddle…but it’s tittle…both make me laugh. For a Brit, tiddle is just as bad (as a noun). Beautiful card as always. Love that die…it’s original. The believe is gorgeous.

  69. I love this card – really elegant, but simple enough for people to make a number of them quickly. I’ll be making some of these to send out.

  70. Pretty card – and Christmas truly is “magic” … my future son-in-law at the time was the first one to ever say that Christmas at our house was magic. Loved it then, love it still.

  71. Beautiful. I always look forward to your videos. You are so entertaining to listen to. My husband listens too. He doesn’t make cards, but he thinks you are funny. Thank you for sharing.

  72. Love the card Laura! It is so much simpler to make that it looks! Also in lov with the Candied Apple & Mustard Seed.

  73. What a striking BOLD sentiment! Thank you for the tip on quickly adhering the layers together. Great video mixing humor and inspiration.

  74. Wowzers……amazing card! Love the die cute word! I bought all the word dies that had that back ground piece in stamptember release from Simon, but I couldn’t find any ideas on how to use it……that is until today!

  80. Very gorgeous card Laura ! As always you made a wonderful background which highlights so well the new products ! This ornament is so gorgeous and I really love the writing of this big sentiment ! Thanks so much for sharing.

  81. I am not familiar with distress cardstock, but I use distress markers all of the time and love them. I have to check out the cardstock next. I love the silver glitter paper on the border and for the ornament. I like the colors in the background, too!

  82. Laura, thanks for the video! I love what you had to say about your favorite colors and the spray adhesive — although I’m not ready to switch — :).

  83. Love the border made by the Peyton ornament — between that and the Believe die, you have a simple but gorgeous card.

  84. Didn’t think one would have a use for the outline die to go with the sentiment, but you totally convinced me the two go together perfectly! Also love the ornament die and the blended background (as always).
    Have a wonderful weekend!
    Marianne x

  85. You always do a great job on your cards, and your videos are always a treat–fun and informative with the right balance of concise but useful explanations. That die is awesome.

  86. You made me LOL with that “I just made that up.” comment!!! Priceless to those of us who watch a lot of these videos and “get it”.

Beautiful card, you made blending look so effortless…well done!

  87. Laura, I always love your cards and videos and today’s is no exception. I’m seriously trying to refrain from buying right now but this example is making it incredibly difficult.

  93. This is absolutely PERFECT, Laura! I think my OCD is what has kept me from getting on the flicking bandwagon – I can’t control flick placement. Glad to see/hear that we OCDers CAN still flick. 🙂

  94. Oh wow! Love just love everything about this card! It’s somehow both simple and detailed at the same time, and the ornament die adds so much – beautiful 🙂

  98. Hi Laura. Love the video and this card is wonderful. Made me laugh when you speak about how you are when it comes to your flicks….I am too. The color combo is beautiful and the love the dimension of the die cut. I didn’t know about the elmers spray. Will have to find it and try it. Great idea. I didn’t know the dot on the “I” had a name….I do now…LOL. yup…makes me want to laugh too

  99. Laura, you never cease to amaze, or amuse, me. Love your work and yes, I too, giggle EVERY time I’m in search of that little tittle that goes missing on my mess (craft) table. Thank you for sharing!

  100. A really pretty card Laura…one of my favs out of this release is that “believe” die, which of course I’ve already ordered! TFS

  103. This is such a beautiful card! The distress ink blending is amazing and the design is lovely. And that ornament die is so fresh, but that believe die is just gorgeous.

  104. I love these stamps and dies. I am making bunches of Christmas Cards for the holiday season and some Halloween Cards for close friends. I love to use different papers and dies. I also did some organization of my toys!

  105. You were the main inspiration for me to finally commit to learning how to do ink blending – which has become one of my favorite things to do in card making! I always love seeing what you do with it. These shadow dies are really appealing, and since I DO believe in the magic of Christmas, I may have to incorporate this one into some of my holiday creations!

  106. If I had not watched your video I would never have ordered the Peyton Ornament die but it was awesome and now I will be watching for it in the mail. Can’t wait!

  107. What a beautiful and different Christmas card! I don’t have a die cutter so I can’t make a card like yours but I love the silver glitter and the colors you used in the background. Yellow is my favorite color and I see you used it too. Great card!

  108. I love the shadowing of the word believe. It just stands out beautifully on that backdrop. That ornament is gorgeous to boot. Thanks for your video Laura.

  109. so pretty and I did remember the name of the dot over the i. I am not a fan of warm colors but I like this card.

  110. Another winner, Laura! Yup, remember the earlier discussion of the tittle! Love the ornament die, so unusual. And yes, Kristina DID nail it! Love that set and matching dies.

  111. I Tittley loved this card!!! every little flick of water was perfect, i totally get ya on that! love the glittery paper. oh it is so near and dear to my heart- I hoard the stuff like chocolate or something! another home run with your video
