Paper Smooches projects

Hello! Today I have a couple of Paper Smooches projects to share with you. This first card features the adorable new Birds dies.Paper Smooches-Birds dies I thought these cute birds would make the perfect baby card. I used the Ovals 1 dies to create a mask. Then I blended in Mint & Mailiblue ink as well as stamping a few images from the Reflections set in coordinating colors. I layered up the birds dies to give them thickness using spray adhesive and added the cute little bow from the Easter Egg dies set.Paper Smooches-Birds diesThis next card features the Natural Beauties stamp set as well as the coordinating dies.Paper Smooches-Natural BeautiesFor the background I blended in Picked Raspberry & Mermaid Lagoon ink. Then I splattered some water over it.
Paper Smooches-Natural BeautiesI love the pop of black & white images over the ink blended background. That’s all for today! Thanks so much for stopping by!

25Days2015Hello there! Today I’m joining my sweet & talented friend Tracy McNeely for her 25 Days of Christmas Tags event. For Day 9 of the event we are featuring Paper Smooches products.
Paper Smooches- Foliage 2 DiesI created a wreath tag using the Ovals 1 dies, Foliage 2 dies & Holly dies. I stamped a sentiment from the Christmas Sampler stamp set. Not exactly sure why adding glossy accents to holly berries makes me so giddy.
Paper Smooches- Foliage 2 DiesI have a couple more Paper Smooches projects to share. This next little tag uses the new Gift Tags 3 dies as well as the Holly dies and a sentiment from Holiday Cheer. Again, more glossy accents on the holly berries:) The pattern paper is from the Sparkle & Shine paper pack.
Paper Smooches-Gift Tags 3 DiesThis next little lunchbox note features the Snow Dudes dies as well as the Notebook Basic die with a sentiment from Freezy Fellas. I colored the insides of the die cuts with Copics. This is what my kids need to hear all day long….”dude, chill!” We have such a dramatic household. I’m sure I’m not alone, right? Just go with it:)
Gift Tags 3 DiesThere’s lots of fun giveaways & challenges to celebrate the 25 Days of Christmas Tags event. Check out Tracy’s blog here for more information on how to enter & play along. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Paper Smooches-EvergreensI’ve created two cards featuring the new Evergreen dies.
Paper Smooches-EvergreensFor my first card I created a snowy background by blending in Maliblue & High Dive ink and adding some white embossing paste with the Falling Snow stencil.
Paper Smooches-EvergreensThe trees were colored by blending in Jellybean & Lucky ink with a sentiment from the Holiday Cheer set.Paper Smooches-EvergreensTo create the rainbow background on this card I smooshed some distress inks onto my craft mat and added water to create the most gorgeous watercolor palette. As long as you keep everything very wet and use watercolor cardstock, the inks will blend like magic. These are obviously my favorite colors on earth: Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Peacock Feathers & Salty Ocean.
Paper Smooches-EvergreensI also added a die cut sentiment using the new Let It Snow die by Paper Smooches. You can see how versatile these new Evergreen dies are. I love that you can get different looks by using either the positive or the negative parts. Enjoy the rest of your hop & have a fantastic day!

Paper Smooches projects

Hi there! Today I have a couple of Paper Smooches projects to share with you. It’s been awhile since my last post. I suppose it was a combination of being busy behind the scenes working on upcoming projects and needing a little blogging break. Either way, it’s nice to post again!Paper Smooches-Comforting HugsHow adorable is this little kitty cat hug from Comforting Hugs. I created a little lunchbox note size using the Notebook Basic die and the Comforting Hugs coordinating dies. For the background, I blended in some Salty Ocean and then splattered a bit of water.
Paper Smooches-Mason Jar diesThis next card is a triple shaker using the Mason Jar dies. Gotta love a triple shaker, right? It was the perfect way to show off these gorgeous sequin mixes by Lucy. Here’s a little video to show you how I created my triple shaker wonder:)I also have a winner to announce from my Sparkling Clear Sequin Mix giveaway from my last post. Congrats, Liz McAllister!

Paper Smooches projects

Hi there! Just popping in with a few Paper Smooches projects. I thought I’d better share this card before flip flop weather is over, although for some of you, it’s probably always flip flop weather. I just hope you’re not wearing your flip flops with your sock on. My kids do that, and it makes me cringe. I used my ink blenders to add color to the flip flops with Blue Jay, Scuba & Jellybean ink.Paper Smooches-Flip Flop diesThis next card features the Birch Tree dies. I blended the background using the same colors as above and added a sentiment from Graceful Beauties.
Paper Smooches-Birch Trees DiesNext up is a card using the new Kibitzing stamps and coordinating dies. I embossed the stars in clear and then blended in Blue Jay ink. Then I stitched the stars on with my sewing machine. I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking, “How did she get such straight stitches?” Well, after three tries and a lot of huffing and puffing, I drew subtle pencil lines with a ruler for a guide. I bow in complete admiration to those who can stitch a straight line effortlessly. I also blended in some Duckling ink on the bottom.
Paper Smooches-Kibitzing Icons DiesThis last card is an older card that I never got around to posting, but I just adore these Promenade stamps & coordinating dies. I stamped all the images in Memento ink and colored them in with Copics.
Paper Smooches-Promenade Icons DiesThat’s all for today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
